Everything, the best hotel in Zanzibar that we stayed for our entire 3week stay. Location is absolutely amazing right on the beautiful beach, delicious breakfast, the place looks authentic and fabulous. Staff was super nice and helped us with everything. A must visit place!

This resort is as good as all the other reviews say. The staff is wonderful and make you feel right at home. The facilities are modern, clean, environmentally conscious and provide all the comfort and options you could want. The pools are wonderful as swimming in the ocean is only possible for about 3-4 hours every day and the food at the restaurant is amazing. Fresh, local flavours and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the location because the beach was clean and rock free. Also, it wasn't crowded and we could walk into Page or Jambiani if we wanted more activity or shops. It fit our need for quiet and relaxation perfectly. Plus there were several great restaurants on either side of the resort.

Nothing about the resort. In fact, the resort was so good that we wished we hadn't rented a car. We found we didn't need it because the resort had most of what we needed or we could walk.

You can walk around the hotel without shoes, you can walk everywhere (well almost) on the sand. It is right on the beach, the place itself is guarded, you feel very safe. Both pools are clean and lovely, you can lie back and enjoy the weather in peace. Very well equipped flats, including a kitchenette.

when it rains it makes pools in the room :) Not enough lighting in the rooms, but otherwise everything extra.

The bungalows are beautifully designed and a true joy to be in. Great pool. Great breakfast and restaurant. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

No cabanas or chairs on the actual beach - but so many beautiful places to sit by the pools or in the gardens, with views of the sea, that it didn’t matter.

The location was peaceful and ideal for a vacation where we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Additionally, the sea was located very close to the hotel, providing stunning views and easy access to the beach. The hotel's swimming pools were excellent and well-maintained – a favorite for both children and adults. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Everything worked flawlessly, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Although the hotel is not the cheapest option, the value for money is absolutely spot on. It is worth every penny, as the overall experience was so high-quality. I can warmly recommend this hotel, especially for families and those seeking peace and relaxation. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a wonderful holiday!

Huge teritorry, as well as the pool. There are actually 2 pools,both of them are like 20m long, which is unusuall for the hotels. Helpful and polite staff, teritorry is guarded by security from the evening till the morning. Tasty breakfast

Sand filled room in the house, but probably you should accept it when booking

I’ve stayed in a bungalow and I really loved it. The room is super large, as the bathroom aswell. The mattress is really hard but as soon as I talked with the reception they set it up with a topper and it became super comfortable. The cleaning is spotless and everything someone comes to te room to put anti mosquito spray, open the bed and set the mosquito net. Breakfast is very good

I only stayed at the hotel for dinner 1 day: it was Italian buffet and it was actually bad, specially considering what you are paying for The whole environment of the hotel is super calm and cozy but the pool bar has super loud pop music that makes you feel you’re in a club and totally ruins the vibe. Could not stay there for more than 10 minutes. The staff is nice but most of the times feels fake. They charge you a crazy amount for every taxi you ask them to call, honestly ripping off their clients. Same with exchanging money. On top of that they set me a taxi driver that didn’t spoke any English what made the situation even more difficult.

Very very good stay at the Luna Apartment in August. Everything was perfect. Special thanks to the staff very nice and more particularly to our receptionist Abdula. Very clean rooms, much appreciated. Thé swimming pool of La Luna is wonderful. Very good combination with Mwezi Resort sharing facilities. We had good breakfast at Mwezi every mornings, and restaurant is of good quality.

Everything was literally perfect and we cannot wait to return!!

We stayed in a nice, camping-style wooden house with a pool view. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for two people. Having a rental car made it easy to get around, and the location was excellent - safe and close to Paje for additional dining options. Breakfast was outstanding, and the resort features two amazing pools and a lovely beach. Everything about our stay was perfect, and we highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!
