Beautiful property situated in Hoekwil, just a short drive from the center of Wilderness. Hosts were so lovely and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back if ever in the area again.

Nothing- everything was great! Bathrooms could do with a little refresher, but still perfectly fine.

The location and views are beautiful, and the owners dealt with us directly and were very friendly and quite helpful with sight seeing and activities. They were more than willing to assist us to help book various activities during the busy season. The lodge is quite a drive from town which we did not expect but found it was a great getaway destination.

There was no provided braai facilities but you can rent with the owners at additional charge.

The home was comfortable and of a good size. Beds were very comfortable and warm. We loved the garden and enjoying meals around the kitchen table. Our cleaned house was such a surprise when we returned from our first day out. The Kitkat choccies and water on the beds was so sweet! Wifi accessibility was fantastic to have and we enjoyed the hospitality from our hosts. Just wish we could stay longer!!

We would have liked to see more of the mountains from the deck area- the garden is lovely, but perhaps the trees can do with a trim

We had an emergency booking, because of problems with another booking and Hildesheim immediately responded to our booking and when we called to confirm, everything was ready for us. Beautiful garden, pool and surroundings. Very friendly and helpful host. Lovely, spacious units.

There's nothing that we didn't like..

Clean, nice decor, microwave and fridge available, location, friendly and accommodating owners. Nice breakfast.

Electrical plugs flimsy and loose, no plugs at bed for cell phone charging. Shower door difficult to open and close.

Such a lovely garden to look at and relax. Our room was beautifully furnished. Good quality linen and very spacious. Nice patio to sit on overlooking the garden.

I wish we'd booked for a longer stay.

Floor tiles were loose, and some broken The sliding doors were difficult to close/lock

As a return guest Steve and Charmaine welcomed me like family and made my sister feel welcomed as well. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

Beautiful guest lodge with a spectacular view! The room was specious, very clean, and had a lovely litte verandah. I really enjoyed the quietness of this place. Very peaceful environment, perfect for people who are looking for a place to relax in nature. Lovely owner and great pool area with sun loungers! Felt very welcomed and will definitely come back
