I had a wonderful stay at Caffe Pinnalanda, located right in front of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. It’s a perfect location for visitors, with the added convenience of free parking just outside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the entire experience feel warm and welcoming. The room was air-conditioned, very clean, and came with a large, comfy bed. There was also hot water, a clean and well-maintained bathroom, and even a television for added comfort and relaxation. The Sri Lankan breakfast was really good — tasty, authentic, and satisfying. For all the comfort and convenience provided, the pricing was very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. If you're planning a visit to Pinnawala, I highly recommend staying here. It’s peaceful, clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

We had a great stay at Pinnalanda Hotel! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Pinnawala Zoo. There were also several nice restaurants nearby, which made it really convenient for meals. The hotel had a large parking lot, which was a big plus for us since we were traveling by car. Definitely a good choice if you’re visiting the area!

The only thing we didn’t like was the shower — it was broken 🫠

The location is very good and it's just opposite the Elephant Orphanage. Breakfast and Lunch (Asian Food) excellent. It's a little spicy, but nice.

Only one TV channel was working, and the message was pop-up " subscription payment not done". Due to nonpayment, other channels were not working. Suggest to place dustbin in the toilet and tissue box in the room.

In front of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, you can park the vehicle in front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful I actually forgot his name one of the staff ( a small guy) was very helpful. The host was also very friendly and a great value for our money.the room and Bathroom was very clean. Bed was very comfortable and large.

Some people will come to charge the parking ticket, but please ignore them and let the hotel staff know about that

Very clean, spacious room, big bathroom, only there’s no hot hot water but it was ok of taking quick shower, comfortable bed, AC, very close to river where elephants taking a shower. Across the street is elephant orphanage. Sri Lankan breakfast very tasty.

Only hot water in the bathroom but it was super warm outside that we don’t care about it

This hotel is exceptionally clean, perfectly located with easy access to everything, and truly offers great value for the money

The food at the restaurant was really bad .I bought two chicken fried rice, they had no taste and very little chicken, so don’t ever buy food from there.

Clean rooms and bathroom. Opposite to the Elephant Orphanage. The breakfast was fresh and very good. Serving the breakfast was also very quickly.

Wifi (password) which we had been given, didn‘t work. But that was not a major issue for us.

The room was quite spacious, very clean and well equiped. Also the bathroom looks pretty new. You can enjoy some fresh air at the balcony. The location is perfect and just across Elephant Orphenage.

The staff greeted us at our tuk tuk and took care of our bags. Our room was nice and clean. There's a mini bar, for a fee, and a store right below. It's directly across the street from the elephant orphanage. In the morning, around 10:00, you can watch a herd of elephant cross the street. Quite a site
