Beautiful residence charged with history. We were greeted very warmly and the hotel staff were available at any time, with manager Angelo giving us personal recommendations and tips to make the most of our stay, even offering transport and further bookings, without being pushy. The hotel is quiet and generally used for functions so we were the only guests and received undivided attention.

Everything is tailored to your needs, which also means you may feel the attention is too much at times and you may feel obligated to accept offers of tours, drivers and so on, but the staff give you space. The fit and finish is a little dated but generally comfortable.

Beautiful house, very friendly staff, and gorgeous leafy grounds for outdoor breakfast. Breakfast was enormous. Beds were comfortable and our room was spacious.

The house is very special, but would benefit from a beautiful interior designers touch - there are a lot of grandma doilies and old curtains that let the property down. It could be spectacular. It was also eerily empty - I think there were more staff than customers. Food took a very long time, but I think due to a lack of a chef for the evening, leaving a member of interior staff handling the cooking. The staff, although incredibly lovely, could benefit from some training. We were met with blank staring faces, rather than a welcoming seamless check in process. So much so that I thought we were at someone's private house when we arrived! But really this is being very picky when overall it was brilliant.

We enjoyed our stay at Manor House! Nice large rooms with character and comfortable beds. Well kept garden and swimming pool. Friendly staff who were able to offer good advice on things to see in the local area.

Location is a short distance from Kandy - this means it is nice and quiet but you do need a Tuk Tuk/car if you want to go to a restaurant .

Loved the old style architecture and gardens, beautiful Manor House. The pool is a good refreshment for kids. Continental breakfast was ok.

It needed to be updated, facilities were old, hotel seemed empty and staff a little disoriented, the fact the doors have a top with openings allows the sound to pass by, so in our case with a room on a ground floor we had noise when guests arrived late at night.

A stunning colonial manor, with typical architecture and fascinating bric-a-brac accessories. Very friendly staff, Breakfast hall is avery charming old ballroom. Greta Atmosphere.

The building is old and you can feel it. It needs lot of maintenance and better solutions to make it comfortable, Noisy fan and A/C. Lighting poor.

Such a beautiful property! It had an amazing vibe. My kids had a blast. Well maintained boutiquish property that will be loved by anyone who stays here. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Special shout out to Joy and Mr Raj. Anyone travelling to Kandy, please do consider this place. You won't be disappointed.
