Breakfast was amazing, the room was big and had everything you need.

It was up a super steep hill, the family were kind but a little overbearing it was sort of like staying with your mom and dad.

a lovely clean room with a beautiful balcony view. A great size and the hosts cleaned our room and replaced bedsheets throughout the week we stayed. A lovely place to stay for a little longer. The hosts were very chatty and helpful. They made beautiful breakfast and dinners! Would recommend

Mosquito nets are needed since we had lots of mosquito bites throughout the We would have liked to have breakfast on the balcony but then again, we didnt ask.

We stayed for one night, room was clean, had a tv, all the towels, all small details were good. we had a good sleep, morning was a nice breakfast with family.

We loved our peaceful stay here, with gorgeous hosts Joseph and Sriani. They went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. Sriani is a wonderful cook. We got to enjoy her delicious breakfasts and a lovely dinner too. Sriani also did our loads of washing for us. It was nice to be out of the city but also not too far out. We had beautiful views from our balcony to watch the birds from and relax.

The only down side was the toilets struggling to flush properly but this could be easily managed with a few extra flushes.

This was the best host we have ever experienced so far. They treated us like family, making us feel truly cared for. The homemade breakfasts were not only delicious but also incredibly healthy. During our stay, it happened to be my wife's birthday, and the hosts went above and beyond to help us arrange a surprise birthday party. If you’re looking for exceptional hospitality and great company, this is undoubtedly the place to stay in Kandy. If I ever visit Kandy again, I will definitely return here

This was the best accomodation during my holiday in Sri Lanka! The room was so bright, comfortable, clean. The host was so helpful, he took us for a trip to jewelry factory and tea factory on motorbikes with his son and didn't charge anything for it. He left in the room books in our native language (small but impressive detail). His wife cooked delicious meals, you can also order lunch or dinner in European style. The family was really very caring and they tried very hard to prevent cheating on their guests by tuktuk drivers and other untrustable people. Thank you! I would definitely come back 🙏 We had a great rest here and we felt very welcomed.

We had a pleasant stay here for one night before catching the morning train to Ella. They have the cutest cat & kitten on their property which was a lovely surprise. They cooked us an early morning breakfast so we could eat before our train and the view from the balcony was very nice.

The bathroom shower area/ curtain could be a little cleaner but that’s my only complaint. It is worth noting that the property is up a steep hill.

The couple running this homestay are so lovely and welcoming, I felt like I was family. They greeted us with fresh papaya juice on arrival and asked our plans, giving us lots of advice and recommendations for Kandy. They even drew a map and wrote instructions down for us for how to get to points of interest. The breakfast was fabulous, so much variety and cooked with love, very filling and tasty. The room was great, clean and comfortable with AC and a fan and the bathroom was clean. We had tea making facilities and a nice balcony seating area. It is at the top of a steep hill but easy enough to get up and down (tuk tuks may struggle). Location is quiet and not far by bus or tuk tuk into Kandy. Cannot thank this lovely family enough and highly recommend!

We loved the location of this place. It is about a 3km walk into the city centre, or a short bus ride, which was our preference because Kandy is quite busy. It is situated up on a hill so you can enjoy beautiful views from your room. There is a little terrace outside the room where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. The room itself was big, comfortable and clean, with double doors that opened up onto the terrace. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The owners were the best part of our stay here. They made us a delicious and very filling breakfast every morning in their kitchen. It felt very comfortable and wholesome. They gave us suggestions on what to check out in Kandy and told us which buses to take to get there (go to the Botanical Gardens, you will not regret it). We liked it so much here that we stayed an additional night.

The only complaint I have is the dogs barking in the evening. This is not the fault of the owners, I am sure this is an issue elsewhere in Kandy as well. Wasn't enough to deter us from extending our stay!

Nice big room includes a small balcony with a view where we had a beer. Beds are comfy and there is plenty of hot water and wifi. Hosts were super nice and served a delicious breakfast in their kitchen allowing for a friendly chat.

We were looking for a calm place which this place would be if it weren't for the dogs that were howling and barking at night. It didn't prevent us from sleeping but we could hear them. The place is a little bit our of the way and there is a very steep 50 meters to go up from the street, this could be problematic for people who have problems walking, it was not our case. Though the place is out of the center, it's very easy and cheap to get a Tuk-tuk to come and get you using the Pickme app, good to know.
