Me and my wife had an awesome experience at Raghunath Haveli. We arrived early in the day and the family welcomed us and accommodated very well. Breakfast is home cooked lovely food which is fresh and tasty rather than traditional buffet style hotel experience. It gives it homely touch which is nice. Throughout the stay, family members helps you with the tips and tricks to explore the city, books you a cab and is always present above and beyond to help you with whatever you need.. On second day of my trip, my dust allergy made me sick and family made sure I was well taken care of. This place is a gem and very conveniently located to all shopping streets ( within 10 mins)

I traveled alone to Jaipur and thought I might feel a bit lonely, but staying at Raghunath Haveli - A Boutique Homestay was a perfect decision as it is an incredibly warm and welcoming place. The family running the hotel greeted me with such kindness that I felt like part of their family from the very first moment! The owner, Madho, is a delightful person, always willing to engage in interesting conversations. I enjoyed watching him in the mornings on the terrace, soaking up the sun and meditating, which created a peaceful and serene atmosphere. His wife, Alka, is extremely sweet and welcoming, and their grown up son Mohit went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. He even gave me a ride and purchased my train ticket for my next destination in India, which greatly eased my travel plans. The family’s generosity didn’t stop there—they patiently accompanied me to buy a new suitcase and later took me to try a delicious rose ice cream—an unforgettable experience! When I asked for a hairdryer and they didn’t have one available, they went out of their way to get one the same day for my convenience. I was truly grateful. Breakfast was simple but always prepared with care, asking what I would like to eat and serving it with affection. The room was cozy and well-equipped. The entire building has been beautifully renovated while preserving the charm of the local architecture. They have a lift which is very convenient. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to major attractions. Even the two young men responsible for the maintenance of the place and the lady who assists in the kitchen are amazing people. May God always bless them! I I can't put into words how special this stay was. Honestly, I enjoyed the hotel and the wonderful people I met there EVEN MORE than the city of Jaipur itself! Without a doubt, I would love to return to Raghunath Haveli. It was a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

My only two suggestions would be for the hotel to consider reviewing its pricing for local attractions and airport transfers. Through my own research, I was able to find more competitive rates. I believe that offering more cost-effective options could further enhance the guest experience. Also I felt cold in the nights (I traveled in December), so an electric heater would have been very helpful !

A lovely family run hotel. No frills but a fantastic experience.

Uber won’t pick up from the hotel.

A genuine and luxurious homestay experience. The family and staff who own and operate the homestay are super friendly, kind, helpful and social. The interior of the building is a traditional near palace-type experience. The inner courtyard is beautiful, quiet and peaceful (and cool!). It’s located in a great area for access to tourist sites and is a quiet oasis once you’re inside. I fear that booking a room in the future might receive ‘sold out’ for many dates as this gem becomes more known.

The place felt like home for the nights that we stayed there. The courtyard was quiet and clean, a good hideaway from the bustling outside. Our room was spacious with decent air-conditioning and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had some water pressure issues but they were quickly addressed. The owner and his family are very hospitable and prepare excellent (vegetarian) breakfast and dinner--including home-made chapati.

It is a challenging neighborhood to run a hotel, so be prepared for some small inconveniences. Nearest uber pick-up point is 5-10 minutes walking--although it is possible to set the hotel as a destination. The owner can call a taxi to the hotel, though.

Absolutely amazing place. The staff can’t make you feel any more at home if they tried. The most friendly people you can ask for and really will go above and beyond for you. The property has been decorated very beautifully and offers an authenticate homestay feel. The shower was warm and the ac powerful (even in the top floor room). The breakfast was delicious and freshly made, appreciated the option was limited but this is better instead of wasting anything.

Despite not being totally their responsibility. The side street leading to the hotel could be tidied up a bit but please don’t let this put you off!

The host is a very warm and welcoming person, also the sons ensure a lovely homestay. It’s literally a gem in this neighborhood, such a beautiful and well maintained architecture. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is very good. They are always offering help and hospitality. I highly recommend this place and when I come back to Jaipur I will book this Homestay again. Don’t miss out on this experience.

It’s not a dislike, just an information for the guests in general: The host is always keen to help with booking a Rickshaw or Cab. What works best is „Rapido“ - with that you will not have any issues to get a rickshaw or cab.

Raghunath Haveli blooms like the lotus in a murky pond. While the surrounding is typically old city, narrow streets, and dirty ( including the approach to RH) the building is beautifully and lovingly restored. Once you enter the homestay, you can literally feel the stress of the day melt away. The place and its people cocoon you in a warmth, making you feel like you're home. The staff is excellent. Always smiling and willing to go the extra mile for you, even cook something up beyond the fare. The icing on the cake is the sheer warmth that the hostess Alka Somani brings to each interaction. Whether it's feeding you ( or over feeding you at breakfast in typical Indian mum fashion) or leading homestyle cooking classes, or running a tight ship, she does it with so much grace, leaving one in awe and humbled by her love.

The room that I was in had no ventilation, one window opened to the central passageway and couldn't be opened for lack of privacy. The room will greatly benefit by the addition of an AC, it felt claustrophobic at points, but because of the cool weather it was pleasant enough to stay, something that the hosts will have to address in the coming summer months.

We are a family of 4 (traveling with 15 and 17 year old girls). We stayed at this lovely Haveli for three nights in February 2025. We loved everything about our experience. The rooms are well restored and clean. The property is in a great location, within walking distance from most attractions such as the city palace and markets. The family running this Haveli are genuinely kind souls who did everything to make us feel welcome - and our stay memorable. This included cooking class one night as they prepared dinner, a Jaipur walking tour to hidden spots including the spice market, the artisan quarters and an unexpected monkey adventure. A henna artist came in one night, and we had two dinners which were both wonderful. Yoga mats were provided for sunrise yoga on the rooftop. Madho loves his home city and shares that with guests. Alka made the best parathas for breakfast and is one of the most generous people I’ve ever met. Their sons are also very helpful and involved in running the Haveli. This was the highlight of our trip - we feel we were made to feel part of the family during our stay. Thank you!!!

Raghunath Haveli is a beautiful place to stay in Jaipur, run by a super nice family. The room was big with AC and available hot shower. Quiet neighbourhood. Really delicious breakfast, were asking for some extra food is no problem. The owner is super helpful and we received a lot of extra information on how to celebrate Holi safely.

The property has a really nice rooftop, which is a little bit hidden and less maintained. They have the chairs and tables available upstairs but it was not yet really set up. Guests are free to eat along diner with the family, but then dishes will be basic. They advice you to enjoy some great restaurant food on walking distance. Be informed that the authentic place also has a lot of glass structures above the windows that do not have shutters. So you will wake up with the daylight, but you can also experience some additional light of the inner patio during the night. Tip for the management: use small side lamps around 22:00 instead of the big corridor lights in the common areas to avoid too much bright lights shining in the bedrooms.
