The property was very comfortable and right on the marina which was very relaxing. It was only 5 minutes out of the town centre so it was nice and quiet.

Everything about the property was great, very clean & comfortable with lovely friendly, happy cleaning staff. However the staff in the marina bar, didn’t get their names could do with some people skills. We had side plates almost thrown at us by miserable waiting staff, at the bar they didn’t have what I was looking for but the girls didn’t even tempt me with a substitute - I had to ask another lady. We did encounter one lovely waitress called Taylor and another young guy called Brandon who were exceptional, sadly Taylor was only filling in, shame as the Marina could do with more like her and Brandon! Needless so say we only had 1 evening meal on the first day of arrival at the Marina.

Loved the size of the room and the separate bedroom. Bathroom was a good size and had plenty of space for your stuff. The kitchen area was adequate. The laundry that was available for use was a huge bonus. Liked that the yatch club was so close. It would have been a good place to chill out and relax.

You had to sit up to watch TV. You could not watch TV when lying in bed. Don't stay when the yatch races are on if you want to enjoy the club. There is no room for motel guests. The motel is out of town. Not necessarily a bad thing but you do have to drive to everything.

Beautiful area which is only a 2 minute walk to the pick up point for Calypso Star Shark Diving. Hotel was very clean and spacious and the staff working at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The shower gels included smelt amazing and we had coffee pods complimentary with our stay.

Food options at the hotel restaurant for vegetarians/vegans is very limited and ingredients such as parmesan were included in the veggie options, despite it not being a vegetarian ingredient.

We could either do breakfast ourselves (we came with everything) or have breakfast at the Marina Hotel, we did one on each morning. The breakfast at the hotel was beautiful. we had dinner there both nights and couldnt fault the first night. the second night we had a garlic bread, which was burnt to a crisp and so tough, it was inedible. We did mention it to the staff but just shrugged her shoulders. I believe she was new.

Teh Garlic Bread on the second might was inedible. The rest was excellent. I thought it might have been noisy on a Saturday night, but it wasn't, except for a chicken farmer parking his trailer with thousands of chickens who didn't want to be there, just outside the door, but they did settle down later in the night. There was no table to eat our breakfast in the room.

The room very clean and tidy.We were given a ground floor suite as requested as we knew there was no lift.(in our mid 70's)

Booking for dinner 2 out of the 3 nights we were not on the table list. One person did remember my husband booking and an apology was given. The 2nd time we were just told not "in the book". Husband was about to go and speak to the man who had taken the booking and she quickly said..follow me and seated us. I might add that the restaurant was no where near full the whole time we were there. Their antiquated method is to write you name on a piece of paper...what happens then., yep you guessed correctly it gets lost.Management need to look into their booking system for dinners.

We stayed at the Marina Hotel in a spacious, clean, and comfortable apartment that was perfect for our needs before and after the Rodney Fox Shark Expedition. The location was ideal for the expedition, making it incredibly convenient. However, if you're not there for that purpose, the hotel is a bit out of the way, and you would definitely need transport to get into town. Overall, a great spot for the expedition but less suited if you're looking for easy access to the town.

If you're going for the shark diving then you really can't get any closer than to stay at the marina hotel. Staff are friendly, food is good and the beers are cold

For me personally, I love to have the bedroom as dark as possible for sleeping, unfortunately light from outside on the street comes in over the top of the curtains and also thorough the door leading to the hallway.

The location was great, staff were very friendly and dinner at the Marina Hotel was delicious. We also enjoyed the smart tv in the room so we could log into any streaming service.

The property is quite echoey so you can hear everything in the hallways, people talking and moving about. We were on the ground floor near the entrance and despite pulling all the blinds, the outside light at the front entrance was so bright through the sides of the blinds. There were also little extra things that are just nice to have, like complimentary water bottle and a biscuit to have with tea or coffee, these were not provided, small things but they make a difference.

Location was excellent The dinner menu in the restaurant was sufficient The room was very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpfut

The guest washing machine stuck at part of the cycle and this made me lose an hour trying to get it unstuck. However when I brought this to the attention of the staff they quickly let me use another machine.

We came in last minute as we had a mix up with accomodation. The staff were very welcoming at short notice and full of local knowledge. Would highly recommend to friends and family. Also having family in the Port Lincoln area we have passed on our recommendation to them for future visitors.
