What’s there not to like about this quaint b&b , the location is perfect , a little out of town (5mins) but the scenery makes up for that . Greeted by Olive , the loveliest of hostesses, she goes above and beyond what you would expect . The house is absolutely immaculate , spotlessly clean and Olive and her husband have added so many little extras , it made our stay just perfect , wish we could have stayed longer …. Did I mention breakfast OMG absolutely five star , beautifully presented , fresh baked scones , brown bread , fresh fruit as well as a cooked breakfast , what more can I say , this place is fabulous and not to mention the best value for money that we got in seven weeks of travel Thank you Olive 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Absolutely nothing to dislike

We have spent many years traveling the world, and our stay at Cullentra House stands out as one of the best experiences we've had. From the incredibly comfortable beds that gave me my first deep sleep in ages, to the beautifully presented and delicious breakfast, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The travel advice, local tips, and little extras were incredibly helpful. Most importantly, our host Olive was the heart of it all—warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what she does. She made our holiday feel effortless and truly memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cullentra House B&B this first weekend in March. Our hosts, Olive and James gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel very much at home. Our bedroom was spotless, warm and comfortable, and with a lovely view of the sea. Nice to have tea and coffee making facilities and chocolate bars provided in the bedroom. Olive's full Irish breakfast is a king's banquet, and you definitely will not feel hungry until later in the day. The little touches like a cup of tea and cake offered upon arrival are just one example of how Olive goes the extra mile to make your stay a memorable one. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending a break with Olive and James.

The detail to presentation in serving breakfast was amazing. Presented with delicious homemade breads, granola with yogurt and freshly sliced fruits accompanied by a smoothy made by Olive. This was followed by a great choice of cooked foods. Olive was very helpful in suggesting things to do and see. She also booked Harry's for our evening meal. A must go to for delicious foods with lots of sea food options. The views of Cushendall, Waterfoot and the table top mountain was spectacular from the house. A must go to accommodation when in the area.

We had I lovely stay, the family were lovely, everything from the welcome to how very helpful they were. They REALLY go the extra mile for their visitors. It was a lovely touch that each time we were out and returned the offer of a lovely cuppa and a cake or bun was offered Breakfast was above and beyond anything I've ever been offered before, and the information and quality WAS EXCELLENT. Also, on hand, to ensure you had everything you wanted or needed during breakfast. BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD IN A B&B.
For us, the beds were a bit on the high side...for us at around 5ft 6in and older it was a bit high. BUT ON THE grand side of things, those who are a bit taller would have been grateful, so it wouldn't put me off staying again.

Cullentra House was a highlight of our trip to the island of Ireland! The warm welcome with tea, coffee, fresh-baked fruit cake and carrot cake was just what we needed after a long drive. Olive and James offered suggestions about what to see in the area and where to go for dinner (and Olive placed the reservation for us!). Our room was beautifully appointed with such attention to detail for what a traveller might need. And the multi-course breakfast! Awesome beginning with an appetizer (a fruit smoothie in a small cup) followed by fruit juice, a dish of granola and yogurt, an individual dish of sliced fruit, toast, a main course (with about 10 options - requested night before), and home-baked pastries (scones, wheaten bread), and coffee or tea! Fresh towels everyday in the modern bathroom (rain head shower)!
We highly recommend Cullentra House!

My friend and I were on a road trip and booked Cullentra House because it seemed to be good value for money. We hadn't expected such a warm welcome from our hosts Olive and James, or such a well appointed and meticulously clean establishment. Less than an hour after arriving we'd decided to stay an extra night. Amazing views, comfortable beds, great breakfast (that can be adapted for vegan & gluten free) and an interesting area to explore. Olive has all the local info and recommendations you need, and, as we arrived later in the day, even rang around the local restaurants to make sure we got dinner (city dwellers be warned - it's hard to get fed after 8pm!). I should also mention that she makes a fantastic pot of tea and I hear the cakes are lovely too. I would definitely stay here again, and hope to return.

My husband and I spent only one night, much to our regret, in the exceptional Cullentra House. What an experience! Sumptuous, spotless room with super, comfortable bed & lovely ensuite, glorious views of the Glens of Antrim sweeping down to the sea, ample & spacious parking...which brings us to the food!! The breakfast was excellent with a range of cooked options from which to choose and many extras to savour. However, it was the gracious, kind & hospitable nature of the hosts, Olive and her husband James, who knew no bounds when ensuring the comfort of their guests, which impressed us the most. Olive's delicious homemade brown bread and mouth-watering raspberry & white chocolate scones were to die for. We learned that Olive gets up at all hours of each morning to freshly bake the aforementioned treats. Indeed, when she learned of our intent to hike in Glenariff that morning, she even proffered a goodie-bag of same, which we truly relished! Sincere thank you, Olive & James, for our memorable stay with you in Cullentra House. We highly recommend, without reservation, staying at this accommodation.
We were very happy with every aspect of our stay in this accommodation.

Breakfast was amazing. We have stayed in numerous B&Bs throughout Ireland, the UK, and Australia. The breakfast during our stay at Cullentra House was one of the tops. The homemade baked goods were wonderful. The brown bread from our host’s mother’s recipe was absolutely delicious and made us feel at home. Also a great recommendation for dinner and even made the reservation for us.
Room was a bit tight as we had to take turns going from one side of the room to the other.

Olive and James were the most wonderful hosts. They are truly dedicated to making their guests' stay a most memorable part of their travel experience. Everything from the warm welcome, comfort and coziness, and delicious full breakfast made this stay unforgettable for my husband and me. We highly recommend Cullentra House without a single hesitation. Thank you, Olive and James! Judith and Jean-Paul
