The location is great for what we came for - the National Farm Toy Show. It also is a clean place.

There was no hair dryer in the room so I couldn't wash my hair. The place is an "old school" motel, not as modern as most places today.

With such high ratings, we were expecting something less run down. Room was clean, tv is small, screen on door duct taped, bight yard light shown through curtains, heater, road, & train noises made it difficult to sleep. Host was exceptional & room was clean so if one is looking for a reasonably priced, no frills stay & can sleep with noise & light, it was very good.

While older and somewhat worn, it was clean. I appreciated the microwave and the mini fridge.

The A/C was not initially sufficient. It was a small wall unit mounted in the west wall (direct sunlight on typical hot summer Midwest day. If you check in and expect it to cool down in 30 minutes or so it isn't going to happen. By the middle of the night it finally got to the point where I had to use the blankets. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor - hard. Very thin curtains with no blinds resulting in a fairly bright room with other business lights in the area. Bottom line here - pay attention to the dates on the reviews. If I had I probably wouldn't have stayed here.

This is an older sad looking hotel with dated furniture. However it is very clean. Bed was comfortable. Manager was quite nice

There are 3 deep steps up to the office and no ramp. The railing is not in a position to be helpful. You have to step up to enter your room. This hotel is not appropriate for the handicapped. Pillows were awful.
