My recent stay at your hotel was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a captivating atmosphere; the building's rich history, charming architecture, and elegant style combined to create an incredibly beautiful and welcoming ambiance. The feeling of stepping back in time, yet enjoying modern comforts, was delightful. The staff were consistently pleasant and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their professionalism and genuine warmth significantly enhanced my experience. The dining experience was equally impressive; the food was not only excellent but beautifully presented, showcasing a clear commitment to quality ingredients and culinary expertise. My room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. Beyond the spotless condition, the comfort of the bed and the luxurious linens were particularly noteworthy. Sleeping soundly on such high-quality bedding was a welcome treat after a long journey.

This is my third stay at The Julian and I have never been disappointed. The rooms are very nice, beds are so comfortable, and the bathroom is very big in the suite. This is the first time I have eaten at the restaurant located in the hotel and it was delicious, and prices were good. This hotel location is close to many eating, drinking and entertainment places. The lobby is beautiful and there are many areas to sit and chat or to work on your computer if needed. The staff is also very nice. I will stay here again when in the area. Oh, and I love the noon check out!!

An amazing historic hotel right downtown. Great staff and the rooms are just right. Surround by a variety of bars restaurants it is so central to anything you want to do. Caroline’s on the lower level has a great menu breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have free parking out back.

Nothing, but one more thing we liked was being able to open the big old windows and enjoy the outside.

Convenient location, a lot of activities and restaurants within walking distance. Nice staff. Pool temp was very nice, whirlpool was relaxing. Bed was comfortable.

Was disappointed in the condition of the hotel for the price. Granted, I had a cheaper room but it was very small, closet had room for only about 3 items with the two provided robes. Bathroom sink was cracked. Furniture has a lot of wear. There was a glop of toothpaste? on the bathroom wall. Elevator carpet was dirty around the edges. Patio outside the pool area was very disappointing, not used to its potential.

The rooms were redone in "timely" reality. Riverboat Bar's manager up on drink knowledge, personality, professional friendliness. Outside seating wonderful, enjoyed trains...memories from my childhood :) Caroline's had time in a bottle presentations and wonderful little amenities, food excellent, wonderful discount for hotel guests. If front desk couldn't accommodate, were Very friendly and helpful in giving updates. Was appreciated since I did not get River or City view, but a side building view, a lower price...THANK YOU.

NOT MUCH Burned out bulb, bath fan needed a little attention.

The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a great Italian restaurant 1/2 a block away. From the outside it looks like just an old brick building, but walk inside and it is very nice. Has a grand staircase. We had drink tickets to the restaurant/lounge. Just know that when you check in is when the thermostat is triggered to warm or cool the room. You have to ask the front desk to adjust your temperature.

Hotel Julien is a beautifully restored old hotel. We park ed in their lot across the street, had happy hour (half priced) drinks on the gorgeous outdoor deck, slept so comfortably I woke up thinking I was at home and the next morning walked to a lovely breakfast spot, that introduced us to the huge weekly Farmer's Market. Everything was great!

When we turned down the bed, the sheet was stained, an old stain, but still. We pulled it off and used the one around the duvet instead, so no problem.

Beautiful historic hotel. Great location - was able to walk to the aquarium and local shops. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice room. Comfortable bed. Nice robes with the room. Beautiful city view. Lots of windows in the room - very nice. Free easily accessible parking.

Other reviews talked about the heat, microwave, etc. Some of the negative reviews almost made me not stay here. I'm glad I didn't listen. The heat is a minor inconvenience. The temperature of the room was fine. I survived without a microwave. This is a great historic hotel. Really glad we stayed here.

Excellent place in the centre of this charming town. Very comfortable, good sized room and the free parking just across the road is a real bonus. The town is great for a stroll with plenty of bars and some good restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Check in was poor with the receptionist completely ignoring me for some time. In the morning we realised that she had given us some coupons which we then couldn't use. She did have time, however, to tell her associate that she had to use the bathroom.

Ample parking, staff was very friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions. The room had a great view of the river and city and so many things that we wanted to do during our trip were close to the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept great each night, Everything was very clean and overall we had a great time staying at the hotel.
