Our room was huge. had a separate living room area from the bedroom with a t.v so you could watch without waking up your spouse in the other room. The bathroom was nice and clean. I also loved the eggs, sausage, waffles and fruits for breakfast. The pool area has a slide for the little ones and adults, enjoyed being a kid and going down that slide and we loved that they were separate. The Jacuzzi is big enough to fit a good number of people, it was my favorite place to be through out our trip.

The pancake maker needs a longer setting to properly cook the pancakes. They were under cooked and doughy. The alarm went off early on our first morning there and woke us up. The lady at the front said she could not turn it off after it turned out to be a false alarm which sounded bizarre so it kept going for about 30 minutes, it was horrible. Apparently the alarm was set off because the air/ temperature in the attic was high.

What a jewel. For starters, the staff was so welcoming. Cookies and fresh coffee before leaving the lobby. The indoor pool with slide and kiddie pool not to mention the oversized hot tub is fantastic for families and weary travelers. Vending and ice is in a central location easy to find. The room had more than ample space and featured desk area and bench for seating or luggage. The bathroom had numerous towels and large dispensers of lotion, conditioner, shampoo, and body wash. Oh did I mention the coffee in the room was delicious. The hotel more than surpassed the “white glove” test. The rooms, halls and dining area were spotless. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This city offers a delightful trolley tour of the historic city with lots of shops and dining.

As a senior traveler, arriving in the dark, I thought there should be painted curbs or maybe small, lighted entrance signs a few feet tall. I thought it was a little difficult to see exactly where the curb ended and the opening to turn in was. (not sure if I explained myself) Not a complaint, but easier for drivers that don’t see as well for night driving.

We stayed 3 nights, the Lobby and halls were very clean and well maintained. Every contact we had with management and staff was a pleasure they gave the impression that they cared about our comfort.The room was nice, stocked and clean, we had a whirlpool tub that was relaxing and enjoyable. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus, large variety of choices Eggs, bacon or sausage, Oatmeal, make your own waffles, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and excellent coffee, I wish I would have asked someone the brand.

They need to have a sign suggesting parents SUPERVISE their children when heading to the buffet so they don’t run amok. Fortunately, we got our bacon before a young child with no parental supervision after filling a plate that could feed a family of four subsequently sneezed on the remaining bacon. A young child from another family treated the area like a track field running laps back and forth nearly tripped an older gentleman with a cane. Parents fault not the hotel.

Very clean rooms, pool was fun for kids, allowed to bring drinks into the pool while watching the kids play, good breakfast, very ice staff.

When booking or two rooms we were told they don't have joining rooms, with the door separating them, and was told they would put our rooms as close together as they could. The rooms were across the hall from each other which worked out fine but one of the rooms had the door in it that was connected to the room next door so that was disappointing finding out we were lied to about it but we would still stay there again.

The indoor water park (though I didn't use it) appeared to be every kid's and parent's dream. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well prepared. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was more spacious than average.

The facility was showing signs of age. The plumbing in my room required work while I was there. The AC unit was just OK, and the room tended to smell musty.

Especially the staff! Everyone we came into contact with was very helpful and friendly! Cleanliness! The lobby, dining room, pool area, and our room were spotless. Except the bath tub. I was looking forward to a whirlpool bath, but the jets and controls were moldy. Clorox spray and an old toothbrush would do the trick! Other than that, the bathroom was very clean.

The bed was very comfortable. Liked the bench to put our suitcase on. TV was small but adequate. Appreciated the room darkening curtains.

Property has a non- smoking policy but our room (carpet & walls) smelled of smoke! The bathroom fan did nothing to keep it steam free during showers. No night light in the bathroom. I appreciated the refrigerator but needed a freezer to freeze my ice packs to keep my insulin cold for the next travel day. The bottom of the tub was dirty.

Chris was great and helpful also the lady working early morning with an accent was more than great! Very helpful and patient and staying on top of everything.

The older lady working Saturday day/evening. Very rude and pretty much accused our group of taking the tic tac toe in the lobby. All she had to do was look for it and there it was in the shelf. Extremely rude and not personable.

The setting is nice. The grounds are well kept. The location is good. The staff is great! The bed was good but not great.

There was hair on the light colored bathroom floor, which made the errant hair hard to miss. It's an oversight that really shouldn't happen. It's not life-threatening, but a real ick factor that makes one question what we can't see. I could clearly hear the people in the next room when they were talking. Thankfully, they were early to bed people.

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the room! everything was prepared beautifully for us. every staff member we interacted with were always so helpful and friendly.

One thing i didnt enjoy was where we were located. it wasnt a big deal or too much of a disturbance but we were right by the stairs and when people were walking up or down it was pretty loud.
