We picked this property because of all of the comments about how clean it was. That’s my #1 benchmark. We were not disappointed. It was exceptionally clean. The front desk staff member was so friendly. She got slammed quickly with a long line of people, but acknowledged each one as we entered and said she’d be with us shortly. I always appreciate that. We loved that we could park near a door close to our room. Thanks to the woman who checked us in, we knew what door that was. Our room was so roomy. Wished we’d had more time there. Had a king bed and a couch, chair and ottoman and table/chairs. They say they have a kitchenette, but altho there is a sink and cabinets and fridge, there are no dishes or silverware. So just bring your own if you intend on warming anything up. And we appreciate that it was pet friendly. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Dubuque.

The elevator was not working the day we were there. So we accepted a first floor room to avoid carrying luggage up the stairs. We ended up poolside which was noisy but it didn’t bother us. It was quiet at sleep time. The breakfast was a bit blah. Tasteless eggs, greasy sausage. No bagels, but did have white bread. Also had yogurt and apples/oranges, so had a few healthy options.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was VERY attentive, friendly, and professional. They make sure the guests feel at home. The complimentary breakfast takes place in the attached restaurant, so there is plenty of room. Lots of parking, a very large pool area with enough tables and chairs to accommodate several groups, and the pool traffic does not have to walk through the lobby, which is so nice. The attached restaurant is Old Chicago, and they have some great food, too.

The elevator is very small and quite slow. It can hold 4 people comfortably, fewer if any have luggage. The staff is always polite and steps back to allow guests to go first, which is nice, but if there were two elevators, it would make much more sense, especially since the facility is so large.

The location, the facility, the attached restaurant were all good. My son said, "It depends on who you are, A family with kids should really like it, especially rooms around the pool. But, business people might not like it so much if there are a lot of kids around." I agree. The hotel did very well at stopping the noise at 10:00 pm, which we greatly appreciated. I really liked the hotel, my son had mixed reviews.

My son said his queen-size bed was hard. Mine was just fine. I would like my wife's input, but she wasn't these. Kids yelling loudly and hitting ping-pong balls off our door and window. We were exhausted and just wanted to fall asleep, but didn't until 10:00 pm. This was not, repeat, not the hotel's fault.

Great location to the University of Dubuque which was why we were there. We really enjoyed the restaurant, Old Chicago Pizza, that was located at the edge of the property. Nescafe coffee machine in the lobby for use by all guests.

Booking had us pay extra for breakfast and it ended up that breakfast was COMPLIMENTARY FOR ALL GUESTS! We paid an additional $35 or $40 per day for the 3 of us for breakfast and everyone got a buffet style breakfast free. Not the hotels fault, but definitely will no longer purchase anything additional through Booking.

Our stay was awesome. We came to Dubuque so my son could go turkey hunting for his first time with a friend, and we figured we would stay the weekend. The pool was awesome, the hot tub was perfect, we played ping pong. The atmosphere was just fun and inviting. We liked the adult time from 10 till 11pm and after 11 it was so quiet. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was so good and lots of choices.

Our daughter is a student at the Univesity of Dubuque so it's close to campus, which we really like. We also like the fact that there is a restaurant located at the end of the hotel. It's nice to not have to leave again to go eat once you check in.

The hotel has a really nice pool area, but it wasn't the cleanest on this particular day. I'm not sure if it was because it was Sunday evening and a lot of people were there Saturday night or what, but we didn't want to hang out in that area this particular visit.

Helpful staff, clean, restaurant inside hotel, great free breakfast including real eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles and assortment of breads/pastries. There was 24-hour coffee in the lobby with an espresso machine that made varies different coffees. In the middle of the hotels there is a large atrium with a pool, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, and lots of tables/chairs all around. There was also a small game room for the kids. It was less than 3 miles to downtown.

The room was large and clean. The bathroom was huge with great lighting to do hair and makeup. There was so much space in the room, and everything was comfortable. In room coffee was good, room had a fridge which was very clean. The bathroom was spotless, as was the rest of the room. Linens seemed new. Staff was friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is the best! Staff is constantly checking and replenishing the food and it is fantastic. Menu changes each day.

There is a very strong chlorine smell from the pool when you are in the hallways. You can hear some noise from the pool area if your room has a pool view.

Convenient location. Huge facilities. Clean and well maintained. Large comfortable room. Allowed pets . Good breakfast selection .

Neighbors were noisy. The smell of chlorine from the pool was almost overwhelming. The facility is so large it would have been comforting to have had signs at the intersections. Finding the best parking for our room was challenging.

This is our second time staying here. Upon entering you feel welcomed. Friendly staff is there with smiling faces. Very clean and comfortable rooms. I love the atrium for gathering and relaxing, playing games and talking. The breakfast is very good with many choices. We left full and happy. This will be our choice to stay at while we visit galena territory in future visits.

The pool was under renovation, didn't see it was closed upon our stay. Waiting until next time to enjoy though. 😀
