All the front desk staff were great, from arrival to departure, you can tell they like their job. Everyone was at the ready to suggest places to eat, entertainment and anything else asked of them. Nikko the belboy / greeter was very helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The food was very good and the waiters and seater were all awesome. The pool bartender, Dan I think his name was, also great kid....the coffee shop was very convenient and delish....and the rooms all being ocean front was the best! ...Thanks Tides, had a great time@

Phone did not work, cost of chairs and umbrella per day is alittle steep, should be included with resort fee. The pipeline for beach replenishment is definitely an eyesore, takes away from the look of the property from the beach and from the balcony.Also some work is needed on a lot of the ocean facing stucco wall and balcony ceilings, cracks, missing pieces etc.

Location was fabulous, staff were amazing, the facilities just need an upgrade. It was clean and our trip was great!

We loved the Hotel staff they were very helpful and the Older lady that works at the coffee shop she was very nice. The view from the hotel room was great. They kept our room clean and placed fresh towels every day we left and returned. Some hotels wouldn’t do that.

The room didn’t have a microwave but they did bring us one when we asked for one😃. The people that work at the Blu restaurant did not answer the phone when my husband and I wanted to call in an order 45 mins before they closed. It was just a dessert order. We wanted ice cream.

Dinner was very good, wide beautiful beachfront with amazing view from 6th floor. Even gave us champagne for a romantic weekend.

A little confusion at checkout. Was given permission to check out at 12 the day before then told at 10:30 would have to be out at 11 and housekeeping knocking on door at 11:20 when rushing to get showered. Then they apologized and honored 12. Also had a drunk guest harass us at dinner and touch our water glasses and come to our table, and waiter did best to get him out but management should have bounced him sooner and comped us free dessert.

Proximity to everything and it had a pool with complimentary towels. The staff were very friendly and always smiled and greeted us.

The room was dated and could use a refresh. Our tub was cracked and you could feel/hear the water under it as we showered. The toilet tank lid was also cracked but it didn’t seem to affect its use. The balcony was a bit too narrow to truly enjoy. However, the beds were comfortable and the linens felt fresh & clean.

The location can’t be beat! The hotel is right on the ocean, so walking down to the beach each morning was a breeze. There are several nice beachy restaurants and shops nearby, so it was easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Pier is right nextdoor as well. Aside from the location being perfect, we also loved the on-site Blue Restaurant and Bar. It overlooks the ocean, which was lovely when having breakfast in the morning. The tiki bar was also a lot of fun. The biggest standout though was how incredibly kind, helpful, and hospitable the Tides Folly hotel staff were. Everyone we worked with from the front desk team, Roasted cafe and Blu restaurant/bar staff, bellmen, and cleaning crew were all phenomenal. They were the most accommodating and pleasant hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommend!

The rooms feel a little bit dated and it would’ve been nice to have a screened balcony door, but other than that everything was great!

It is close to the beach and very clean.

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. It was convenient with a coffee shop and bar in house. The quaint stretch of shops and restaurants is two minutes outside the lobby doors. Great location next to pier as well.

Only 2 elevators. One was out of service, which made waits long. I took the stairs down from the fourth floor each time because I felt it would be faster. Balcony lock didn't work, but due to building design I didn't feel unsafe.

Ocean front view of coure se ! Bed was super comfortable. Staff were very accommodating Ellie went above and beyond expectations. Food was awesome

The door to get to fridge would fall off everytime you went to open. Could easily be fixed with 2 screws could never enjoy pool people laying towels on chairs to save them while they were at beach. All in all we had a great time and will probably return

Location was great! Everything there is within walking distance. Overall, everything was clean. Pool was heated and the kiddo super enjoyed it

Not a full negative, but do expect to pay an additional fee PLUS a deposit when you arrive. The deposit is to be refunded and was expected just from experience traveling but there was another fee that hadn't been included in my original price
