The hotel had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and everything was exceptionally clean. The multiple exits made it especially convenient for taking my dog out with ease.

The property is located in close proximity to a busy main road, with traffic starting early in the morning. Despite the windows being closed, the noise was still somewhat noticeable. While it wasn’t overwhelmingly disruptive, as someone who is a light sleeper, I found it did occasionally disturb my rest.

Amazing and friendly staff. Very helpful in recommending sites to see and hikes i the area. A bus stop is right outside the hotel and runs frequently. Lovely breakfast as well. Clean and spacious rooms.

Great location, super friendly staff and great breakfast! Got a pass to use the public transport for free. Used this to go to Dresden. Perfect way to explore the surrounding.

No water to drink in the room

The location was suitable for my itinerary along the Malerweg. There was a bar, the room was warm and cosy. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great - so much choice and all fresh ingredients.

No kettle in the room was really not convenient, as sometime you want to make a tea or a soup, especially considering the location is on a hiking route. There is no restaurant in the hotel.

Very kind and welcoming staff, they were very thoughtful and helpful with our little one. Guest card for transportation and some discounts included in a price of a room.

Great breakfast, comfy bed, clean and comfortable rooms

The reception closes around 21-22 and they do not serve dinner, so you should plan to check in beforehand. The town has very limited (late) dining options, just couple of guest houses which are either fully booked or closed at like 8 pm. Therefore if you arrive late, plan to check in before 21:00 and consider having a dinner in Bad Schandau (more restaurants and some have kitchen open past 21:00)
