The breakfast was PHENOMENAL. Every day we were so pleasantly surprised and felt like we were dining at an expensive restaurant! The host was incredibly helpful, and provided us with a plethora of recommendations of things to do, see, and restaurants. The drive was beautiful, and the view from the hotel is stunning.
There is no guaranteed parking available at the hotel, and the beach was a 20-25 minute walk downhill and was not the most accessible. You definitely need a car if you plan on going outside of the town. If you have an early/late flight, be mindful that the roads to/from the hotel are very mountainous and difficult to drive. There are no street lights and very thin roads - best to drive during daylight hours!

The staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the dinner we had at their restaurant was by far the best meal we had in Mallorca. They were very understanding of being parents to an active toddler and made us feel at home. Views of course are absolutely stunning as is the decor. Comfortable bed!
Because property is directly on the street and all common areas have tables and chairs for food service, there wasn’t much space to just hang around and enjoy the property and its views. This wouldn’t be a problem for couples or parents with older children though :)

Number one is the people, from Chris who served us breakfast and helped us improve our Spanish, Antonio who wears many hats, being owner/manager, chef, general problem solver etc through to Sergio, occasional waiter who entertained us with his terrible English (almost as bad as our terrible Spanish!) I don't think our experience would have been the same without such a personable bunch of people. Second, the setting is magnificent. Each morning we woke to a beautiful view of the hillside below us and the sea, each evening we were treated to beautiful sunsets (we were lucky with the weather). Third, the three-course breakfast - not some generic attempt to keep the English visitors happy - no, a fusion of continental and Mediterranean food that kept us guessing each day as what would appear. The restaurant food in the evening was excellent - full of flavour and beautifully cooked. We chose to eat there twice, but also wanted to try other restaurants in the area. We also like Banyalbufar itself - we were looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday and this village was perfect for that. Enough shops and cafes to mean we could stay where we were, excellent buses for when we wanted to explore (we did also hire a Vespa for a couple of days to go further afield). The hotel is small and simple, a bit like a B&B but with housekeeping every day, and for me, that was a plus. For example, our room in the attic had limited headroom on one side of the bed - I got used to it and loved the tiny window in the eaves, but my poor husband repeatedly banged his head.
The bed was very firm - Antonio arranged an extra duvet to use as padding, which helped. The noise levels at times - the hotel is on the main road through the village, which means traffic noise first thing. Also, it's an old building and the doors are thin. The mosquitoes - not the hotel's fault, and it was our choice to open the windows instead of using the air-con.

Charming small hotel, more like a bed and breakfast, with great staff and excellent custom meals prepared according to our sometimes challenging dietary needs (vegan and gluten free) by owner, chef, and friendly host, Antonio. The view is beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable we want one like it at home.
The hotel is fairly far out on a twisty road, and parking could be difficult sometimes, but those are small issues compared to the otherwise very pleasant stay.

Very cute house in a great spot (right next to bus stop) in the lovely village of Banyalbufar. Very nice owners serving us amazing original breakfast every morning.
Few minor things: The room door isn’t very soundproof so you can hear what’s happening in the house (and supposedly others can hear you). The water pressure isn’t great but the water is nice and warm. The shower design means that the bathroom becomes flooded no matter what you do.

I absolutely fell in love with the hotel! It was far beyond than what I expected. We arrived around 8pm and the sunset was amazing from the hotel’s restaurant! We had a great table to watch the sunset and eat something. The food was delicious. I felt like they do give their love and passion to what they bring to the table. Also breakfast was great too. Location wise, we rented a car, so it was convenient for us.
If I need to criticize as a person who really enjoyed my time there, I can make some points. — I’m a person who likes to have a savory breakfast with more eggs and cheese. So this was missing, but there is always a choice; you can order eggs with an additional cost ( why I didn’t do that: I was also curious about what they would bring to the table, and it was always delicious). — restaurant on the hotel is in a really good location to watch the sunset and enjoy some wine, but it's not open every day (I guess May is not a high season for them)

I booked a room with a view for one night on my hiking trip in the area, and I really appreciated this charming house where authenticity is preserved. Breakfast is excellent and the lady of the house makes it with lots of love and care. I also had a simple dinner and an excellent glass of red wine, the products were fresh and the presentation was really nice too. I truly enjoyed the vibe of the house.
Just a warning for light sleepers: bring earplugs because sound resonates in the house and you can easily hear people speaking next door or the people working in the kitchen. The doors to the rooms are old style and it can be noisy to lock and unlock them. It didn't bother me because I'm an early riser, but you may want to consider this aspect.

Hosts have created a lovely place to stay in a lovely village and surrounding area. Good communication, good facilities, very comfortable bed, interesting, tasty breakfasts. Honestly bar at reasonable prices. Evening meal delicious and homemade. Not huge choice, but we enjoyed what we had very much. Small number of restaurants in village, made choosing easy!
Be prepared for windy roads to get here, but worth the journey. Hubby found the continual background music a bit annoying, but it didn't bother me!

A beautiful B&B run by the friendliest couple. Unfortunately, we did not manage to be there for the host's cooking at night, but he prepared very nice breakfasts and a departure day breakfast bag as we had to leave early. Our 5-year old was offered the option to enter our room through the bathroom window (to be reached by a staircase) and he loved his "thief" pretense. It's these little things that make places what they are!
We struggled a bit with parking as the public lots up and down the road were taken upon arrival and were a bit stressed about getting our luggage (and kid) inside after an exhausting trip. However, the owner was friendly enough to move her car. What great service! After that, it was always easy to find a spot within a few meters.

Breakfast was very good and innovative: the staff at breakfast time were nice to us. Fair accomodation price. Beautiful location. Quiet hotel. Would recommend a stay.
The staff sent a message after the stay, which was good. But it would have been nicer had they asked us for feedback during the stay. We did not enjoy dinner (once) so much, especially the choice. Parking is a problem; not the walk to the paid car park but rather the ridiculous small space allotted for each car (obviously this is not the hotel's responsibility). Driving to the hotel at night can be a hazard since you have to manoeuvre several hairpin bends with no light on the road.
