The location was superb in an tranquil area of Serra de Tramuntana. The rooms were nice and airy with a lovely balcony. The staff was friendly and the food was very good!

We had issues with the air conditioner, which we reported to the reception, but it was never sorted. We had a room close to a staff entrance where they would go outside for a smoke, and the smell was felt on the balcony and in the room. This wasn’t a big problem though, as it only happened a couple of times, and we were also aware of that smoking habits differ from country to country.

We had a lovely suite with big balcony at the hotel overlooking the sea. The breakfast was very good with a continental style and then you could choose a hot breakfast and detox juice. A lovely pool area and in general efficient and lovely staff.

This is not about the hotel but about the taxi service which is pretty non-existent. We did ask re hiring a car before our stay and the hotel advised to. Most of the restaurants in Valldemossa and Deia are not walkable to, so we are glad we did. Also great to have a car for visiting the villages and other areas including Palma only 30 minutes away in the day.

We loved the location of the hotel. Our room in the old part of the hotel (314) was beautiful and light, with magnificent views of the spectacular landscape. The hotel staff were without exception welcoming and full of good will. The restaurant manager in particular was marvellous. I would be interested to know how many kilometers he walks each day! He was there morning and evening throughout the 5 days of our stay. It was my husband's birthday when we were there and to our astonishment we had several treats, starting with a candle on a cake at breakfast. Heartwarming! I hope that you don't feel inclined to change or update the charm of this lovely hotel. We appreciated the beautiful salon overlooking the sea.

Great location, on the side of Valldemossa ( beautiful) where it’s easy to park and walk into town. Just up the road is Son Morraig and Sa Foradada ( we did the walk down for swim and drink at the restaurant- fully booked for food) and really enjoyed that. The pool area and pool, even nicer than in photos. Very comfortable spacious room. Enjoyed quality breakfast and dinner on terrace before the storms. I was a bit put off by the “ block style” look of the hotel compared to some other more exclusive style options in the area, but truly happy we chose this in the end as the views and everything else but surely be unbeatable for the price. Top notch staff aswell!

The hotel was really nice. The views were great. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking available. Breakfast was very good. Lots of selection. The staff was very accommodating. Super nice. Suggested beaches and areas to visit.. Overall very good stay. The views made this hotel!

The hotel was very nice. If a had to make comments i would say I wish there were USB plugs in the room. The pillows if you’re not a side sleeper they’re very uncomfortable. And I wish I had enough towels in the room for everyone without having to ask front desk. And the place was very quiet. Great got couples. Not so much families. Minor things.

Fabulous location. Had a seaview room - highly recommend with a breathtaking view from the private balcony. Excellent breakfast and staff in the dining room were friendly and efficient. Hotel is very clean.

The hotel is very much geared up to guests from Germany and despite advertising 10 English TV channels, there were no main ones and so no access to world news for two weeks! I asked and was told that someone would look at retuning but still no improvement. As the hotel has no entertainment etc in the evening, which is part of its charm, and it was very cold and wet for four days, we did miss a few tv channels other than National Geographic and Channel 4! A couple of days the housekeeping was a bit sloppy with dirty cups not removed and replaced and a sheet with a large hole in it being put on the bed. All easily and readily rectified but I started to feel like I was continuously raising issues.

Breakfast from 7.30 to 11.00am was relaxing and the food was very good. Dinner on the veranda was excellent, both ambience (views over the cliff coast) and cuisine. Service was professional on all fronts. The pool wasn't packed and like everything else catered for people looking to get away from the frantic pool crush in most other hotels. In all we had no complaints but rather, had only commendations for this hotel stay of one week.

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

We had the only corner suite in the hotel, which was superb with a warp around terrace balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was enormous, very comfortable beds, stocked mini fridge, robes and slippers provided, and being at the end of the hotel, very peaceful. The hotel is the only building on a single mountain road between Valldemoss (5mins away) and Daie, so there is no noisy traffic or noise from anywhere except the birds, which we loved! The breakfast is buffet as well as a menu and the dinners were lovely too. Staff friendly and helpful. The pool was lovely and peaceful with a lifeguard and bar truck serving cocktails.

Really cannot fault our experience in the superior suite. Although we did wonder if housekeeping had forgotten to furnish it with the usual hotel bathroom amenities pack like earbuds, cotton swabs and a shower cap. Everything else was provided for and we had a very comfortable and peaceful stay.

This place is magical. The ocean views were the best I've ever seen and I'm from California living 10 minutes from the beach. The hotel had beautiful expansive grounds to walk around and explore. I had no idea when I booked it that it would be like that and it felt like I was in a storybook. There was free ranging goats and old stone steps to viewpoints and a path through the woods to the pool. I can't wait to go back.

Huge room, very clean and super staff. We loved the location and being away from the busy town. Ramona on the front desk was super helpful and very welcoming. We had dinner at the hotel and thought it was very good and great value for money. Breakfast was wide and varied and included a call up omelette bar which was great.

Perhaps keeping the pool bar open in October would be good on good weather days as the pool is down through the gardens and away from the hotel. Dinner is much more geared to eating in the restaurant and you're not really encouraged to be out on the terrace. Minor things against the whole experience though. We thought it was really good and exceptional value for money.
