Hoposa Costa D’or is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I am glad I got to spend the first half of my holiday there. Below are the following reasons why I liked the hotel: 1) Easy to get to from Palma 2) Is exceptionally clean 3) The staff are very friendly and welcoming 4) The hotel is close to Deia and other local areas (I would recommend visitors to go to Llacullari which is a 20 minute walk away from the hotel) 5) The hotel room I stayed in was very comfortable 6) I was impressed by the quality and variety of breakfast they served in the morning. I had dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of nights during my stay and the food was good. 6) I loved the swimming pool and gym at the hotel.

The only negative feedback I would give is that there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom in the evenings. I had to close the door every night to stop the smell going into the bedroom.

Absolutely stunning property nestled in the mountains of Mallorca! Close to both Deià and Soller. Gorgeous views, clean rooms, a great pool area and delicious drinks/food. Breakfast was a lovely buffet included in our stay too!

Only one minor note of caution - the hike down to the water (a must-do!) was absolutely stunning. When it came time to jump in the ocean, getting out of the water was tough. After notifying reception, they mentioned that the stair ladder out of the ocean was swept away by a storm. I would advise the hotel to repair this so visitors don’t have the same troubles exiting the water! Otherwise, we had an absolutely perfect stay.

We felt so welcome. The people who work in this wonderful hotel are very kind and always smiling. An excellent location for peace and relaxation. You can hike like we did to the Deia path or to Soller by the pool going down into the forest. Please don't forget to bring cat food as this hotel has 3 beautiful cats and pamper them! Thank you for the wonderful stay we had at your place. I forgot to tell you that we caught 3 beautiful sunsets in 3 days at the table in their restaurant.

We booked a sea view room but there was no guarantee of a balcony. On arrival we were offered the choice of 2 rooms both with balconies and the lovely young lady on reception recommended our room as it looked directly out to sea. The view was stunning and the sunset was amazing. The service from every member of staff was excellent.

The hotel is located in an incredibly beautiful and breathtaking setting. You can see far out to sea and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The hotel has a large pool, but you can also take a path down the slope to the sea and swim in the beautiful, clear water. The whole complex is designed like an oasis, with lots of palm trees and beautiful flowers. If you choose a room with sea view, you can enjoy the incredible sunsets from your room. A lovely place to come down and escape from everyday life. We have found an oasis.

Spectacular location with beautiful sunsets- it’s a wonderful location for an evening meal. Path down to sea where there is a nice quiet bathing spot. Refurnished and well designed communal areas with traditional character.

For the high price ticket the rooms are, sadly, very small with rather dated furnishings (and that was even with a free upgrade). It is ‘adults only’ however there is a large villa attached to the side of the hotel which was noisy during our stay.

The location is divine - on the cliff, overlooking the sea and with the most stunning sunsets! And it was a very short drive into Deiá town- maybe 3kms. There is access to a cliff walk to Cala Deiá which took about 30mins or less to arrive at the stunning rocky Cala. There is also a swimming spot with a ladder into the sea directly below the hotel - 5 min walk down and we loved swimming there! Breakfast was a buffet of hot and cold offerings and very extensive - beautiful brekkies! And all taken outside in the restaurant’ stunning outside seating area! It was lovely to dine here in the evening and watch the sunset particularly if you’ve spent the day visiting other towns like Valledemossa or Soller. The pool area with drink service was seriously the icing on the cake!! There is not an aspect of this hotel that we didn’t love!! It was better than any online photos and completely exceeded our expectations. We would strongly recommend - a piece of heaven on the coast !!

Beautifully located amazing property. The facility is wonderful, perfect setting for watching the sunset. Unfortunately the weather was not good therefore we couldn’t really take advantage of what the resort has to offer but I could imagine how lovely it would have been if the weather had cooperated.

The walls are very thin making the rooms less private. You can hear everything but thankfully people tried to be respectful. One thing that bothered us very much was the constant sewage smell. Our rooms smelled of sewage but we left the terrace doors open at night. We smelled it in the courtyard too. It might have been caused by the unusual weather and air pressure but it was unpleasant. The rooms are ok, but just ok.

The small family feel of the hotel. The staff are highly attentive and friendly and speak perfect English. They treat yiu as if yiu are staying in their home. I especially liked this aspect of the hotel as the guests can be unfriendly but the staff ensure that they are hospitable.

I was disappointed with the walking tours which were cancelled and the tennis coach both of whom were recommended by the hotel. They were not very professional.

Book this hotel! It’s stunning and feels like you’re in a different world - authentic Mallorca. The location is brilliant, so many nice places to visit near by. Our room was lovely and the bed was really comfy we slept so well. They have a private car par which is handy. Breakfast is great. The staff are so friendly and helpful and all speak English. We arrived very late after a delayed flight and the kitchen made us some dinner even though it was 11.30pm. We really appreciated that. Such a great find, we will be back.
