We felt a little bit like royalty: one of the employees parked our car for us. We were also given a room upgrade (for a bigger room), and the view from the room was amazing, right in the middle of Port de Soller bay. Minibar in the room was fitted with coke, beer, water and free. They gave us little local almond cookies every day. The gym is well fitted (except for legs) and the spa has both a hammam and a sauna. The hotel has loads to offer including yoga courses, massages, a library with vinyls, etc.

The opening times of the gym and spa area felt a little bit too restrictive (9am to 7:30pm), we would have liked to enjoy the facilities from much earlier in the morning. Breakfast was prohibitively expensive (40€ per pers!) so we didn't try it.

I loved the small details - free welcome drinks vouchers, refilling free mini bar every day, the beach bag, the flip flops and dressing gown were a lovely touch. We got moved to a room with a balcony as soon as one became available. Loved the dressing room for extra space to store luggage. I loved this hotel. Fantastic breakfast - both buffet and a la carte.

Nothing bad to say but would try and get a sea view next time, this is the only thing that could have made our stay even better - it was otherwise perfect,

Location on the sea, walking distance from many restaurants, and the tram. Infinity pool overlooking the sea and beautiful terraced gardens in the hillside above the hotel. Tasty breakfast (bagel with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, and creme fraiche). Helpful front desk staff.

It is a bit dated (dark green beach towels and carpet on the stairs, older styled furniture, etc). I don’t think it has been remodeled since 2005. We paid extra for a king bed, sea view with a terrace (about 600 Euros per night), but the room was tiny. The price seemed excessive for the size and dated room. I also was very shocked to discover that the linens (sheets, towels, cloth napkins in the restaurant) all had very strong perfume smell likely from scented dryer sheets or fabric softener. It was too much. I felt like I could get a headache from it. I’ve never encountered that at a hotel.

The location is perfect - right next to the sea, offering stunning views and easy access to beautiful walking paths in the area. The service was exceptional, with friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, offering welcome drinks and sandwiches. Breakfast was great, with a variety of options. The spa facilities, including the sauna, added a nice touch of relaxation, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor heated pool. The infinity pool was beautiful, though unheated.

The only minor downside was that the blankets were a bit too warm for my preference. Also, while the experience was excellent, I can imagine that prices in high season might be quite steep.

I loved the entire experience. Breakfast was delicious and completely worth the cost. The view from my room (ocean view) was spectacular. The staff is beyond kind, helpful and so welcoming. The entire trip was wonderful and Hotel Esplendido is a huge part of that success.

I can't really think of much that I don't like. The hotel is not very accessible to those who are handicapped, but that seems to be more regional than the hotel. I only mention it because I almost traveled with an older family member and I am glad that I didn't because they would not have been as mobile.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach.Staff extremely friendly and helpful-nothing was too much trouble. Sitting outside on the front terrace having breakfast every morning was perfect 👌🏻 The hotel is gorgeous and in a fantastic location… bars/restaurants/shops all in a very short distance…will return next year.

Nothing really but more of an observation-hotel not mobility friendly as lots of steep steps to pool areas and no hand rails up to adult infinity pool/seating areas away from family pool.

Great location on the seafront. Rooms at the front have lovely views of the bay but seem to be quite small. Having read some reviews we opted for a Large Garden Room and were glad we did. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided from kettle for tea making to towels, robes and even a bag for going to the pool or beach.

Lighting in the room was poorly designed and a nightmare for doing makeup - a choice of harsh overhead spot in bathroom or dim wall lights in the bedroom. We tried the buffet breakfast on our first morning but weren't impressed by the ambience, food or the service so went to a local cafe for the rest of our stay.

Impressive view of the sea and mountain. Nice indoor pool/steam/sauna. And the view from the infinity pool is 👍🏻 Very nice welcoming pack and drinks 🍹

Breakfast at €25 per pop is too much. Didn’t go for it.

They do everything right here. Front desk is adequately staffed so there's rarely a wait-even just to ask a question. All staff were consistently friendly,cheerful and helpful each of our 4 nights .Bed very comfortable.Room-facing the sea,was quiet. Meals in restaurants were all very high quality. Home-made breads too! The gym is the best I've come across in all of Mallorca.Exercise machines and several high quality strength training machines,and abundant free weights. The 2 pools are a delight. Hotel's location can't be beat. At night the view from the water-facing rooms sparkles. I found the hotel to be on a par with the equally beautiful Jumeriah.The advantage here is one can easily walk to the restaurants and beach(20 yards from hotel front door) as opposed to having to take a shuttle.

Pool bar food not up to the rest of the hotels food standard. Would expect a more proactive team around the pools offering drinks, water etc The staff were not unfriendly but quite a few did not give off particularly welcoming vibes. Maybe end of season tiredness?
