The hotel has an incredibly relaxed vibe and is in a fantastic position overlooking both the port and the mountains. The standard room was a little smaller than we prefer so we upgraded to a suite, which was excellent. The breakfast is the best that we have had anywhere, with pretty much anything you could think of available. Every member of staff was delightful, especially Anna, Angelique and Ben, who went out of their way to make our stay extra special. The decor throughout the hotel and in the rooms is stunning, gives a very boho vibe. The views from the balcony in the rooms are breathtaking. Facilities are clean and well looked after. Pool area is beautiful. The food at the pool bar AND the restaurant is top quality and really delicious. I love the free yoga sessions offered too! Reception always on hand to help with any queries, booking taxis etc. It was my second time staying here and I would stay again and again! ❤️

Only a few very small things to mention here: the pillows are a bit flat but we asked for extra and these were provided to us straight away. Might be just me for this one, but I didn’t like that there was no way to turn the balcony light off manually. The light goes off automatically when the restaurant/ bar area closes, but if you wanted an early night before that the curtains don’t quite block all the light out so it’s a bit annoying.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views overlooking the port. The facilities were great, and the overall vibe was super relaxed – perfect for a laid-back getaway. I wouldn’t say the staff were overly friendly, but I found this to be fairly typical across the island. The room was lovely – though two bathrooms felt a little excessive! That said, I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary suntan lotion, beach bags, and beach towels – such a space-saver when packing. Breakfast was delicious, with small daily changes and a different dish of the day to keep things interesting.

Decor and location excellent . Lovely roof terrace bar and restaurant . Beds were very comfortable overall the rooms were fabulous … Nice touch was the complimentary sunscreen and beach hat plus use of a colourful beach bag and throws during our stay.Neni restaurant was lovely too. Good breakfast selection.. lovely choice of coffees and fresh orange juice available .We loved our stay and will return .

Not enough staff in the Donkey bar .. all drinks had to be ordered via the waiter and as only one on duty the wait for drinks was over 20 mins each visit .. recommend having 2 behind the bar and 2 staff on the floor. Pool bar menu was very limited.TV only had German channels apart from BBC world news! Pool would benefit from a ladder/ steps at both ends .. limited access into the pool from just one area. Needed better hangars in the bedrooms .. clothes just fall off them as nothing to attach straps too . Bedroom would benefit from an extra shelf area in the tv wall side of the room .

Amazing view, outside areas, pool, bar and restaurant were spectacular. Breakfast was v nice, again with a fab view. Drinks and food at the pool bar were good with great service. We had some initial issues with booking but the staff went beyond expectations to sort things out and allowed us use of a suite for 2 nights of our stay.

The room was relatively small for the price. Difficult to get there without a car, we arrived via train and tram and then couldn't get a taxi to the hotel from the port for over half an hour. The hotel are unable to send a taxi to pick you up due to local rules. Restaurant is v busy so best book in advance

Loved the room, pool and spa

The fact that you couldn’t order cocktails from the bar in the restaurant and that you can’t sit on the restaurant side even tho it was close to closing for the bar seemed ridiculous- fair enough if two separate entities but you could charge your room from the restaurant anyway. They wouldn’t even let me go order and pay for a cocktail of my choice at the bar and bring to the restaurant while I was having dinner. Most luxury hotels are more than accommodating when I comes to this and I found that it wasn’t here. Only a small complaint in an overall excellent stay

Great hotel, the pool area was so relaxing and no reserving of sunbeds which meant you could take your time eating breakfast. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. We booked the bay side plus room which had amazing views of the mountains and port (room 426). The hotel also has yoga sessions most mornings with gym equipment on the roof top as well. Only a short walk to the port with plenty of restaurants. The Donkey Bar located on the roof top was great, really good cocktails and drinks which was perfect for pre drinks. Beds are comfortable but could do with two pillows not just the one. Rooms cleaned every day when you turn the sign to green on the door, if you didn’t want the room cleaned you leave it red. Lots of storage in wardrobes.

The walk to and from the hotel is located on a very steep hill.

Our stay at the bikini island & mountain hotel was simply outstanding! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful surroundings and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's location is perfect, offering easy access to both local attractions and a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable – always friendly, attentive, and ready to assist with any requests. The breakfast was a delightful experience each morning, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. We especially enjoyed the free yoga class, which was such a thoughtful addition to the overall experience.

Great location, very chilled and friendly atmosphere; staff were really helpful. All food was delicious, breakfast, lunch and dinner (would recommend booking the restaurant in advance). Rooms were on the small side, but decent sized bed so it didn’t impact our experience. We expected to go down to the port more, but ended up staying at the hotel because we didn’t want to leave!

Our room was unfortunately located on the floor beneath the restaurant, which meant we had an early wake-up call (around 6am) and would have struggled to sleep before 12 midnight as the sound through the ceiling of footsteps, moving tables and chairs was loud. Also need to revise, and police, the sunbed policy; most of the beds were reserved with towels but no people before breakfast! .. we’re nitpicking though, this place is really special and would stay again.

The Bikini Island hotel, could easily have had a fifth star but I am happy that it is a little more unknown and only a four star. Because it felt like a hidden gem full, the location close to the harbour but a little off from the the more bustling harbour. Lovely views, small but inviting rooms all of them with terraces furnitured with sun lounger and chairs. In the evening there are lamps lit in raffia on each terrace and it creates a lovely atmosphere. The personell, and this apply for all of them. In the reception, the cleaners, the restaurant and the bar personell, we just loved them all. So thoughtful and personal. Really a hidden gem. We will come back for more!
