Location is excellent - the views of the bay are exquisite, and there is a nice short hike to a cool viewpoint with a lighthouse. The room was great and the breakfast was delicious - highly recommend the shakshuka that you can order on the side. The staff were kind of a mixed bag. On the one hand we had a very customer-service oriented manager who made sure our stay was great. On the ohter hand, we had someone at the front desk who messed up the room number when checking us in (although she did feel bad and gave us a free bottle of cava when we had to move) and another person who initially charged our fees to the wrong room and was then trying to tell us that we told them the wrong number, which was completely false. She ultimately admitted it was her fault but the initial lack of customer orientation was annoying.

The room service sometimes did not replace our towels. Also, they did not replenish the coffee pods in our Nespresso -- not sure if it was the hotel policy, but it would have been great to have some more coffee every day like we did in our other hotels in Sevilla and Barcelona. There are also 2 elevators you have to take to get to the higher leves (4-6). Not a huge deal, but it is a bit confusing switching hotels every day. The facilties also seemed to have some issues - at some point the spa saunas broke down (some electrical issue) and another day the hot water basically stopped running after 10 minutes - which was fortunately sufficient for us to finish our showers, but it was weird.

We loved everything about this hotel… It was the best hotel we have stayed in for a number of reasons. The rooms were spacious and clean, the view from the room was spectacular, the breakfast was extremely tasty (a selection of cold foods as well as being able to order really delicious hot food as well). The pool area is spotless and is a sun trap. The massages were beautiful and the spa area is also spotless. The staff were always very attentive, welcoming and friendly. It was easy to get to (we got a bus from Palma) and easy to catch the tram to the beautiful towns of Soller/Fornalutx. This hotel delivered in every aspect and completely exceeded our expectations - they have thought of everything to make your stay there absolutely perfect! Couldn’t recommend this hotel and the location more

A kettle in the rooms would have been good

Room was superb with a fantastic balcony that overlooked the entire beach of Port de Soller. Room was beautifully finished, bathroom and shower were really excellent. The view from the pool deck was even better and there were abundant beds at this time of year. Buffet breakfast was lovely with a hot option aswell as the usual fruits, cheeses, meats, breads and cakes. Very helpful and attentive staff. We also booked a taxi transfer to and from Palma airport through the hotel and that worked very well and was the most economical option we found. Would highly recommend this place.

Nothing at all

Nice quiet location but still in the midst of everything. Super breakfasts really excellent and plenty for my vegan daughter to choose from. Very friendly staff particularly on reception and breakfast and pool bar staff.

Everything done beautifully ....would have liked kettle option in room not just coffee. I think for the price water should have been provided free of charge round pool and in the room. Body lotion not provided in bathroom which was a shame as shower gel was lovely.

- Soundproofing in rooms could be better. - Housekeeping service a bit sloppy (forgetting to provide new towels where taken away, not topping up coffee pods or water) - Service in restaurant a little slow and muddled (wrong orders, lengthy delays to get cooked food at breakfast). - 2 singles pushed together rather than a double bed a bit disappointing

Everything! The staff were amazing - friendly and attentive. The rooms are very well equipped and have the most enormous beds which are very comfortable. The blackout blinds are much appreciated when it gets light so early. The breakfasts are perfect - loads of choice! The roof terrace is great with a bar serving lovely food and a great plunge pool. I cannot find fault!

Hmmmm there wasn’t anything…

The breakfast was definitely 5* the hotel decor is beautiful- the pool area is lovely, not too busy, nice bar, cocktails were nice etc. the food at lunch was lovely though a little inconsistent, ordered the same item 2 days and one day it came with a different salad. But was still nice! The soccarista pool guy was lovely, the staff all were helpful and lovely. Sunbeds are unbelievably comfortable!

There were a few ants in my bedroom. And I would have liked the mini bar to be refilled every night.

Salino is a fabulous hotel. The location is excellent - it’s in a quiet part of Port de Soller, and got the sun all day. The room was spacious, super comfortable with a fabulous view over the bay. The breakfast was really delicious, and the staff in the hotel were very friendly, efficient and warm. Special mention to Mihaela who helped us when our plans had to change before we got to Mallorca, and to Aitor, Camila and the rest of the team who were so welcoming. Thank you!

Staff were extremely lovely. Camilla in reception was great, very helpful when checking in and made sure we were happy with our room. Camila Giraldo from the restaurant was really really lovely and made our stay perfect. Always so nice in the morning at breakfast and then again while serving us lunch. We will come back to the hotel because of the facilities, the views, location but mostly because of the staff.

The bottled water didn’t get refilled after Day 1.

The hotel was convenient, modern & spotless . View from our room was amazing as was the view from swimming area . Staff were amazing, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast had a great variety of food and was well organised . A gem of a hotel . Will recommend to all and we will return to this fabulous hotel .

You would be hard pressed to dislike anything about this hotel .
