The property’s physical location, on-site food prep, architectural styling and design choices are all in exceptional. Aside from that, the staff went above and beyond to ensure the guests are well looked after and comfortable. We were very lucky to get a room so close to the opening after renovation.

The only thing we had any issue with was the road leading to the hotel…. it’s a bit confusing as GPS wants to bring you through areas that don’t permit regular traffic and you can get fined, that is if you don’t get stuck in some narrow alley first. This isn’t the hotels fault, but attention should he given to alleviating this issue.

A fabulous hotel in a splendid location. The hotel is quiet with stunning mountain rural views but it is a 5 min walk into a charming town. The staff are amazing and helpful but not in your face. Food exceptional and my Gluten free was no issue for them. Indeed the food is so fresh and quality that gluten is rarely used. We enjoyed the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, poolside and dinner times across the week and other restaurants in town and by the sea too. Wine and cocktail staff superior.

Pretty hard to find fault with this hotel but if you pushed me it would be USA on loud calls by the pool and once lunch. No phones/laptops on loud in communal areas please this is a dreamy place.

This hotel recently underwent an ownership change, and the new owners—who have backgrounds in art and interior design—have infused the property with their refined aesthetic. The result is gorgeous and dreamy, worthy of a spot on Mike White’s White Lotus series on HBO. The location is superb: just a five-minute walk to the center of charming Valldemossa village, with its eye-catching Carthusian Monastery. For travelers with rental cars, this property is ideal, as it has a dedicated parking lot directly across the street from its entrance. Even the parking lot offers beautiful views. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, De Tokio a Lima, and not only was our meal delectable—the view from our table was fantastic. Even the treats from the minibar were delicious and of high quality. The hotel has a small pool and sauna that guests can book for private use as part of their stay. When you reserve the spa area, it’s exclusive to your room, which made the experience feel especially luxurious. The only downside is that the pool water isn’t heated—but that’s a very minor complaint. We had an amazing stay at Hotel Valldemossa!

We stayed in a few places on the island. We loved this one- the tranquility surrounding the property, the landscaping, the restaurant and breakfast FIVE stars, the outdoor gym was one of a kind, the pool was relaxing. Walking distance to the village of Valdemossa is a HUGE plus.

Pool was always full of bees- very dangerous and one got tangled in my hair. Pool person needs to use the net every hour or so to clean. We spent one whole day at the pool- we didnt see anyone clean. I called and asked if someone could come and clean the pool and they did. This should be done very often- other guests didnt enjoy this either, one guy was cleaning them with a branch of a tree.

Excellent stay at the hotel, beautifully located. And a good start after reopening. Staff was excellent, especially Selim at the reception was great und his recommendations were always on point.

She was more than a host—she became our guide, anchor, and friend during our short but meaningful stay. This resort is pure indulgence. Every corner is breathtakingly beautiful. As someone with high hospitality standards, I was truly impressed. The cocktail bar and its talented mixologist, the warm and attentive dinner staff, and the incredible food at Tokyo di Lama all exceeded my expectations. And the breakfast? Absolute perfection—think Le Cordon Bleu level pastries, all enjoyed with a stunning mountain view in the morning. The interior design is top-notch; I found myself admiring so many pieces I wished I could take home. My husband and I had a wonderful time, and we will definitely be back.

This hotel is so spectacular in every way possible. The staff were exceptional, the grounds and facilities immaculate, the proximity to the town just a stones throw away. We were recently celebrating our honeymoon, and booked Hotel Valldemossa for 3 nights - it did not disappoint. We were greeted by the friendly staff, we were provided with an upgrade to the best Junior Suite they had available (given it was our honeymoon), they even delivered us a complimentary bottle of wine and macarons as a gift to celebrate our wedding/honeymoon. No request was ever a problem, it was well received by the staff and actioned instantly. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. The story behind the hotel and how it operates is told by the staff as you check in, it is a wonderfully run venue, and the owners should be really proud of the product they have created. Keep it up.

Hotel Valldemossa is an absolute dream. My fiance and I visited in June 2024 and the hotel far exceeded our expectations. We didn't know this going into our trip, but the hotel is only 12 rooms and the staff go above and beyond to make all of the guests feel special. Ana and Salim were amazing hosts who always made sure we had what we needed when heading out for the day. Their recommendations of things to do and restaurants during our stay were honest and always spot on. The grounds are beautiful and tranquil and the hotel itself has a lot of character while also feeling modern and clean. We've recommended Hotel Valldemossa to all of our friends and family.

Stunning and unique location. Unbeatable views from the breakfast balcony. Incredibly helpful staff. You can trust them to organise anything for you and give you the best advice on your free time. Hotel is actually an old monastery that belonged to the main Valldemossa church - it's a very special experience to visit this hotel!

Actually everything was perfect. However, if I have to suggest - air conditioning in the room was slightly difficult to use. It seemed quite old and loud so we ended up opening windows at night instead of switching it on. May cause some discomfort but for us it was great anyway.
