Stayed 5 nights, was only there in morning and at night. Basic room, shower and toilet. Good for what I needed and for a decent price. Friendly staff. Supermarket 20 meter walk. Three hours parking one hour no return in street. Some restaurants, pubs and shops in street. Will be back later in year.

Old interior but clean. Bit noisy from street and in weekend from (friendly) locals in the hotel pub, but didn't bother me much.

I had a wonderful stay at crown hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to town hall centre. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience throughout. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. Overall, the hotel provided great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

The Manager was above and beyond helpful. No food was served but he directed me to what was available. I wanted to walk the dog and he knew just the place to take her. I packed up my car, checked out and remembered I needed a bottle of water for the dog, he actually went into Waitrose for me and bought one. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was on ground floor at back of hotel, perfect with a dog. The bed was fabulous, I took a picture but don't know how to add to this review, sorry.

I only stayed one night, a stopover on way home. If I was staying longer I would like breakfast. Wouldn't have to be cooked, croissant, toast or cereal with some natural yogurt and fruit would be good. Not all of that, just an idea.

Easy check-in. Lovely big room and bathroom. The shower was really good with plenty of power. Parking was easy to find. Great location and was good enough for 1 night stay.

Room could do with a lick of paint. The towel I used had holes in it, and the quilt cover was ripped on the side but not a major problem.. 2 of the cups were still dirty, and kettle lid broken on the side. The room we were in, I think, was previously a joining room, and the door was blocked by a bed but could hear everything being said next door.

Olde worlde character of the building. Room 10 had clearly been recently overhauled. Carpet still had that new smell in the room. Borders biscuits and basic toiletries. Can't go wrong for the price.

Car park was awkward to find, through the Waitrose carpark, which itself isn't signposted very well. Difficult to see which spaces were for the hotel or other businesses. Curtains didn't keep out much light. Bedside lights had local switches but were on a separate fused spur which was switched off. Figured this out eventually.

Breakfast could have been better due to vegan food requirements and there was no bread available, but staff and chef were very accommodating and helpful, could have been more choice with replacement sausages, bacon. The bed although comfy stuck out at the ends and bashed my legs numerous times and ended up black and blue after, but room was cosy, comfy and equipped with all necessary facitlites

The location was just right for me travelling south to the north. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean warm, but the hot water takes a while to come through. But it is a very old hotel, I first stayed there 40 years ago. I will stay again sometime in the future.

Clean room and bar area , lovely atmosphere In the room and bar beer was cheap but nice staff were friendly locals were helpufull and irs located in a beautiful little town called Brackley very close to Silverstone and this was the purpose of my visit, hotel walls are full of interesting facts pictures and new paper articles about the drivers, cars and races over the year I would definitely stay again very very happy

I wish I could stay longer

I had a fantastic stay at crown hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the manager ensured everything ran smoothly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service and a pleasant stay.

Excellent..!! Lovely..!! I was worried as I saw some bad reviews. But it was really perfect. Everything was so clean and tidy.. comfy bed, 2 free drinks, enough tea, coffee and milk were in the room. At downstairs a lovely bar.. very helpful staff..meal amd breakfast were so tasty.. I loved them...good value for money.
