Delightful character house & hosts. Very friendly. Great room. Beautiful quality bedding. Went for the standard breakfast which is enough for me nowadays. Cereals, yoghurts, juice and toast on demand. Great. Lovely character village with pub & church a few mins walk away. Church was locked. Pub open. Guess which won....LOL Will stay again. Actually, I've booked again for tonight. Can't wait!

Shared bathroom could be an issue if they're busy.

Beautiful home, fabulous family and good price. Location great for Silverstone track. Made to feel welcome with lovely conversation.

The bathroom window was not privacy glass and no blind to draw. It had a mirror and plant in the window but made it slightly uncomfortable about showering as there are properties to the rear. So a blind or privacy cover would have made it a perfect stay.

Charming cottage in a lovely setting overlooking a lane to open fields containing horses. Parking in the quiet lane outside the property. I was in the single bedroom. Super comfy bed with good quality bedding. Tea and coffee making facilities, TV behind doors in a lovely old pine corner unit. A proper chair to sit on rather than one of those horrible conference room chairs. Bathroom along the landing (which is as Susie describes in the listing). Decent large towels. Perfect for a couple of nights and 15 mins into Banbury.

Nothing I didn't like

As the name implies a stone house in a fairly remote but quiet village. Everything was as described, friendly hosts, very clean, on street parking and separate bathroom which wasn't an issue. Home cooked English Breakfast available on request. The Ship Inn is a ten minute walk for an evening meal - nice pub.

Couldn't close the bedroom door properly due to thick carpets - and no lock on the door.

Excellent, clean, well managed by a charming couple. Perfect location to explore the local area with a pub & Post Office within a few minutes walk. Breakfast with a variety of offerings served in a pleasant light & airy dining room make for a perfect and sociable start to your day. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities. The internet TV and superb WiFi ensures full connectivity.

Host is fabulous friendly and very conscious of looking after what was needed. Continental style Breakfast included was really appreciated, as was offer of cooked breakfast for small charge.

I do like having curtains to darken room, especially in summer, as sunlight awakes me, very personal view, as otherwise everything was very good.

Lovely hosts, we had a very warm welcome, very accommodating. Home from home comfort. Very clean and tidy. Our beds were super comfy and it was so quiet, made for a lovely sleep. Breakfast was lovely too. Would definitely stay again if we visit that way again, very thankful.

Gorgeous area in the countryside. Quite setting and accommodating host who allowed me to checkin before 10pm. Room was spacious, airy and well lit with everything that I needed. Bed was comfortable. As I was just staying for the night I didn't get to use much as I went straight to sleep and checked out the next morning. Had a lovely breakfast made and enjoyed the company. Would definitely recommend for those staying around the area and the value for money is second to none.

Located in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Silverstone Circuit. Very quiet village - one shop/post office one pub with very odd opening times.

Nowhere to eat at end of day except the pub that has weird opening hours closed Sunday and Monday and open 12:00 - 15:00 then 17:00 - 22:30 ish

I stayed one night at the Stone House as my son and I were attending the Silverstone Festival. Suzy the host was fantastic , our request for a cooked breakfast was accomadated without a problem. Breakfast was fabulous, the house was a lovely country cottage style situated in a beautiful village. I would recommend this accomadation.
