We had a room with a double and 2 singles for 3 of us - an old building but room was furnished in a contemporary style, spacious, lovely comfortable beds, shower looked new and room was clean. We paid extra £15 each for breakfast - really good continental selection which included lovely fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast was substantial, good quality bacon and sausage and was excellent.

Need a mirror in the bedroom not just the bathroom. Downstairs is dated but it's an old coaching inn - needs some updating and freshening up but it didn't impact on our stay. Would suggest for room rate that continental breakfast is included and charge for cooked breakfast is an extra.

Manager Shaun on hand to greet us on arrival, excellent customer service. Team behind the bar were lovely and again, excellent customer service. Location couldn't be better and we had a great room. Stayed in a family room with Mum and sister. Ground floor in coach house. Great room with a double and single so is a good family room. Free parking right outside our door. Lovely patio area for evening drinks. Room very clean and comfortable, thank you Lima. Walk through the front entrance and straight onto the high street which is lovely. We lunched at the local Turkish restaurant sitting in the sunshine. Next day we breakfasted at the Old Bakery as didn't reserve breakfast at the hotel.... Monday to Friday a continental breakfast is provided if requested by 10pm the evening before, cooked breakfast available on Saturday and Sunday. A bonus was discovering the Antiques Cellar (as seen on Bargain Hunt) right next door! Will definitely be revisiting just to spend time in the Cellar and when we do we'll definitely re-book at the Crown Hotel. Thanks again Shaun for being so kind and helpful.

Can honestly say I can't think of anything.

The staff very kindly switched our room so we were nearer the staircase. Lovely staff nothing too much trouble Fab location very central and free parking. We enjoyed a gin and tonic in the bar .. comfortable seats.

The room we switched to was ok but we noticed the valance sheets were water stained at the hem ? Also no plug sockets on one side for the lamps or kettle so we had to boil kettle on the other side on the floor, Otherwise the room was neat and clean and we will stay again as great location and very friendly staff.

Stayed 5 nights, was only there in morning and at night. Basic room, shower and toilet. Good for what I needed and for a decent price. Friendly staff. Supermarket 20 meter walk. Three hours parking one hour no return in street. Some restaurants, pubs and shops in street. Will be back later in year.

Old interior but clean. Bit noisy from street and in weekend from (friendly) locals in the hotel pub, but didn't bother me much.

I had a wonderful stay at crown hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to town hall centre. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in and a pleasant experience throughout. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. Overall, the hotel provided great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again.

The Manager was above and beyond helpful. No food was served but he directed me to what was available. I wanted to walk the dog and he knew just the place to take her. I packed up my car, checked out and remembered I needed a bottle of water for the dog, he actually went into Waitrose for me and bought one. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was on ground floor at back of hotel, perfect with a dog. The bed was fabulous, I took a picture but don't know how to add to this review, sorry.

I only stayed one night, a stopover on way home. If I was staying longer I would like breakfast. Wouldn't have to be cooked, croissant, toast or cereal with some natural yogurt and fruit would be good. Not all of that, just an idea.

Easy check-in. Lovely big room and bathroom. The shower was really good with plenty of power. Parking was easy to find. Great location and was good enough for 1 night stay.

Room could do with a lick of paint. The towel I used had holes in it, and the quilt cover was ripped on the side but not a major problem.. 2 of the cups were still dirty, and kettle lid broken on the side. The room we were in, I think, was previously a joining room, and the door was blocked by a bed but could hear everything being said next door.

Lovely old coaching inn. Location is very good for all of Brackley. Very helpful and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were lovely. Beds were comfortable. Cannot comment on food as we were visiting family and eat out.

The shower room could do with updating, especially around the tiling. The whole hotel could do with a professional clean and refresh.

Olde worlde character of the building. Room 10 had clearly been recently overhauled. Carpet still had that new smell in the room. Borders biscuits and basic toiletries. Can't go wrong for the price.

Car park was awkward to find, through the Waitrose carpark, which itself isn't signposted very well. Difficult to see which spaces were for the hotel or other businesses. Curtains didn't keep out much light. Bedside lights had local switches but were on a separate fused spur which was switched off. Figured this out eventually.

Convenient for Silverstone Circuit. Close to restaurants etc. in Brackley town. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast (although a bit pricey) was well cooked and presented. Earliest sitting was 8am, which was a little late for folk working at the race circuit. Parking was available to the rear of the property, which was welcome.
