The location is so good that we could walk to many spots around. I love Suwon and want to come back soon. I booked a bed in dorm room for me and my little son. The ower upgrade to bigger bed without paying extra. I have been using hostel more than one year ( normally other hostel don't accept kids in dorm room, except one in Osaka ). There is kitchen/ free water/ free coffee. It's not so new place but it's very cosy. The owner seemed not so smiley but I can see this is Korean culture. He is nice to give to my son some gifts also. There is a Japanese restaurant in the first floor very good. Should try 🤗 There is a local market nearby. Good chicken restaurants and 7-11.

Convenient location near the start/end of the routes of the Fortress walks.Also very near the Fried Chicken Street and markets and eateries. Bus stop to Intercity Bus Station just outside guesthouse.

Only 1 male toilet and 1 female toilet to share. But be an issue if the other guests take a long time in there. Bathroom could use a bit of a facelift.

Very well situated, 5 minutes walking from the palace and the south gate There are 4 beds in the room, big windows one the whole wall facing the streets (3 layers : transparent, opaque, and with an insect net, you can choose which one you want), and big curtains to block the light. There are many electricity outlets next to the bed, and I really like the heating system connecting to a small blanket that goes under you (be careful it does not go off automatically after some time ! If you don’t stop it will continue to be warm, fire hazard ? I don’t think it’s hot enough for this but we never know !) The bathroom is more or less clean, and big bottles of body liquid soap, shampoo and conditionner are available in each shower (2 showers for girl’s section). There is also a fridge, and a kitchen with appliances to cook, and a machine for cold and hot water.

If I must find something I would point out that the guest house is on the first floor (well second for Korea since for them first floor is ground floor) but not lift ! But first floor is still ok I think, not too much stairs to climb with a bit suitcase, I have done way worse. Also, as many have already said in previous comments : not really « breakfast included » a plastic bowl of instant ramen is on the bed with towel and sheets when you arrived. But, hey, I needed something energetic to climb the fortress and didn’t have any food with me so I’m not going to complain too much. It’s just a strange breakfast !

The location, very close to all the tourist attractions. Walkable distance to the fortress, palace, museum, markets and chicken street. You can do laundry for a small fee. The staff (the old man) was kind even with limited English. Breakfast was a bowl of instant ramen noodles.

Room was small, so a bit cramp if all the beds are full and not much space for luggage. Also, everytime someone moves in their sleep, the entire bed shakes

It's really spacious (kitchen and living room). The owner was cute and receptive. I discovered later that you can use washing machine and dryer for few won, a good point. It's near transports and attractions (fortress, park, and markets). After the chicken street, I decided to follow the river, and I was amazed to discover the Gwanggyo Reservoir with the sunset. I recommend this guesthouse, you can do everything on foot.

Really great value for money. The owner doesn't know much English but he was very kind. Whenever one of my roommates came back to the hostel he would introduce me to them so it was easy to meet new people and all the other guests were really nice. The hostel seemed friendly and cosy.

The facilities are what you can expect for the price, but replacing the shower curtains for less transparent ones (they were white so didn't give much privacy) and providing more pairs of slippers for the bathroom would make using the bathroom a lot more comfortable. I enjoyed my stay but don't have high expectations for the facilities.

The guesthouse is very well located to explore the fortress, and it has an authentic feeling (friendly owner who cares a lot about doing this). Next to the location, the price is very low and makes it a great option for backpackers. It is not a luxury place but it has all the basics (bed, space, kitchen, travel maps and other guests...). The owner also offers a small pack of noodles which can be handy when you arrive late, or need to leave early.

The Guesthouse was in a fabulous centrally located position, close to all the major attractions but very quiet and peaceful. The facilities were clean, and the host was friendly. I would stay here again.

Everything was very good , breakfast was noodles and coffee which ok . The room was good , very comfortable with a big bathroom . Location was excellent only a stones throw from the entrance to the fortress. Nice area and it was very safe.

Air conditioning was very old and struggled but they had new fans in the room which made up for it.

The owner is really kind and helpful ! Thank you so much ! The place is really well located, just 15min from the main station by bus. A lot of restaurants all around, the fortress is just a couple of minutes away.
