Hotel Eden Salò was the perfect hotel for a stay in Salo. The staff were amazing from start to finish. Informative, helpful, happy and friendly we could not fault our stay. We travelled by hire car to Salo and though we did not use the garage for parking Mouro was able to give us a pass to utilise the nearby parking at the supermarket for a reduced fee. We were given a room which looked out on to the clock tower at the precinct, and although our room was on the main road, it was very quiet and our sleep was not disturbed. The facility's were excellent and the breakfast was exceptional for a small family run hotel. We stayed 2 nights and wished it had been longer. Everything is within walking distance (shops, great restaurants etc). We cannot praise the hotel and staff enough and will definitely return next time we come back to Salo. Breakfast exceptional with very attentive welcoming staff! Breakfast exceeded our expectations and I had read the reviews, which is why I selected this hotel. Very happy with the our stay at Hotel Eden, we found the the staff friendly and accomodating and would recommend this hotel. Right near the clock tower easy walk to the boardwalk and aperols and shopping :)

Showers are so small in Italy. It doesn’t make sense when their bathrooms can accommodate a bigger shower. They leave so much room for a bidet. If you are tall you whack the shower taps and turn on the hot water or hit your elbows all the time… this is not directed to this hotel, it’s all accomodation in Italy.

loved the breakfast, we were expecting just some cereal, fruit and croissants but they blew that right out the water. loved the location , couple of minutes the the promenade staff were lovely The roof terrace was nice , great view Lovely big room

The parking situation. We were told to park on the pavement whilst we unpacked the luggage and picked up the pass for parking, but it's on a main road right next to a junction/roundabout and didn't seem safe. So although we had asked to reserve a spot in the €9 carpark, we had no idea where that was, and so parked in the Apcoa €17 one and left it there overnight to reduce faffing about. This was literally the only downside, in hindsight I'd just look up parking options in advance next time.

We saw most of the lake and Salo seemed to be one of the best towns. The hotel is only a hundred meters from the bus stop for the bus from the train station. The location is close to all the town sightseeing, restaurants and lake ferries. We cycled to Riva and there is a very good bike shop 200m from hotel. The hotel were happy to help store bikes and give advice on cycling routes. The hosts/owners and staff were helpful in ever way.

Nothing comes to mind for hotel. For Salo make sure you have dinner reservations as all restaurants get very busy an it was shoulder season so probably very tough in summer. We did have a poor experience at Caprice Uno restaurant so can not recommend it.

Everything. The staff was so nice and the hotel was really beautifull. I was in the last floor and my view amazing. The room was nice, clean and the bed really good. The hotel is goodly locate and the city was really beautiful. I will come back for sure. And oooh the breakfastttttttttt unbelievable. Thank for all really.

The fact that the minibar had to be paid for, which I didn't notice the first time.

Excellent location - walking distance to Lake side, breakfast was good and staff were really helpful. Supermarket within walking distance. Good options for parking - we parked at the supermarket, hotel gave pass €9 for 24 hours.

Bunkbeds in the room are designed for younger children (mine are 15 and 16)

The rooms are clean, bright and large. The facility has a lockable place where electric bikes can be stored and charged. Location in the very center of the city, overlooking the promenade, very safe area. Rich breakfasts, large selection of cakes. The staff was very helpful, they organized a transfer from Desenzano when we were caught by a downpour and helped dry our things.

Perfect location to get to everything you want to do. Clean and near parking. You get what you pay for. I was very impressed with the staff as I forgot my kindle and they helped to it back to me. I really appreciated how quickly they were able to organise it. Many thanks

The staff was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was incredible, the staff got us special vegan and gluten free options. The location is fantastic. We had a room with balcony which was superb.

I have to look hard for a negative. But there was some mold in the bathroom. Not much else, it’s a great hotel.

The location was fantastic just a short walk to the lake and town centre with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. My wife and I were made to feel very welcome and fed plenty of information of amenities in the surrounding areas. Breakfast was plentiful for us both and had a fine selection to start our day. We would definitely stay again and definitely choose Salo ahead of Sirmione as it’s not as busy. Thank you so much Hotel Eden
