Great location. Everything fresh, clean and in working order. Good meals in the hotel. A bonus "day" bed in each room. Off street parking right next to your entrance.

Bathroom is not physically separated from the room, the wall basically goes up only till ceiling level, but there are no ceilings, only pinched roof. So noises and air is shared with room.

Good location, decent price. Bathroom products provided, as well as tea, coffee and milk. Love the complimentary biscuits. Bed was comfy and it was nice having 2 pillows each. We only stayed 2 nights but our room was refreshed after 1 night which was nice.

Hearing the trucks drive past throughout the night. Lots of cobwebs on the ceiling.

The location is easy to find as it’s situated up a hill, near the shops, and the air conditioner where I had the heater on, as it rained outside during the night. I would’ve liked to have had an electric blanket for the bed, but the air con was next best thing as it kept me warm during the night.

Just a screen door when using the shower as water goes everywhere near the toilet.

The room was cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchenette was well-stocked with coffee and tea. The hot water pressure in the shower was very good. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. I had dinner from the hotel restaurant and it was delicious as well as being very generous in size.

Highly recommend this hotel. We had a lovely pint with lunch before heading off to a wedding. The manager was very friendly and the service at lunch time was fantastic. We got the key early so we could drop our bags off before heading off. The room was very easily accessible with its own park. Comfortable queen size bed. Block out blinds. Recently renovated bathroom with loads of space. Tea/coffee making facilities and a microwave in room. Fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Tidy, comfortable and good location

The hotel called me after I booked, I enquired about another bed, but this was extra so I declined given the room was for my 2 sons. On arrival they had made up the day bed, which neither son fit, charged me the extra and the bed was not used.

this is a good place to base yourself. staff are extremely friendly. its a quiet place there was no hassle with anything (i got a free donut) we stayed there for a family event so didnt stay long. we think we will be back to explore more. we will stay here. give it a go i dont think you will be disappointed. food at the bar is worth the drive.

maybe the parking if you have a big car its only a small area. but this is trivial

My husband, Lou and I enjoyed our stay at Winchelsea Motel very much. The spacious room was well presented, clean and inviting with a comfortable bed and pillows. Dinner at the tavern was very delicious with generous portions. Compliments to the chef. Service was very good, special thanks to Tracey and Aaron. Winchelsea Motel is truly value for money. Was clean bed was comfortable too. Car could park at your doorstep. Lovely dinner and staff were polite and very helpful too.

The air-conditioning didn't have a heating option and nit enough blankets in the room. As the weather conditions change rapidly to be very cold in October.

Spacious, well equipped room (fridge, microwave, kettle, hair dryer etc). Comfortable bed, Small table with 2 comfortable chairs. Restaurant serves good pizza for a reasonable price! A good stay!
