Check in was very easy and they accommodated us arriving late. It was also very quiet considering where it’s situated. We stayed 3 nights and had the back left apartment

The shared main door to enter the two separate apartments was a little concerning. Fortunately we didn’t have a neighbour in the 3 nights we stayed but I can imagine it would feel very intrusive if you did! Lack of storage was also a problem inside a very compact space. Two small chairs made it very uncomfortable to relax of an evening, especially after a big day at a wedding.. A nice comfy couch would be much more appealing!

Wished we had stayed longer as it was close to all our intended destinations so convenient to Torquay area etc Don’t get us wrong, they’re not the most luxurious top-notch establishment but they’re very clean, all the amenities needed for a comfy stay and the owners were lovely & accomodating

When we arrived, we were welcomed by John. Check in process was excellent. The next good thing that happened was we had a numbered car space. The room was immaculately presented, and we had a comfortable 2 night stay. Location was perfect for us as we were catching the train to the Avalon Air Show. Overall, we found this to be the perfect motel for a short stay. It's not a 5 star resort but it is not trying to be. Thanks John and Lyn for a great stay.

The two nights that we stayed where extremely hot but the air conditioner that was in the room was efficient and quiet, allowing for a good night's sleep. The property is close to a hotel which has quite good meals and table service. We booked and paid on line so we didn't see the owners. The room facilities were as expected, and clean, bed was comfortable and had a good selection of pillow sizes. The shower was a bit hard to regulate, but once finely tuned it was ok. As a general comment about motels, I don't like long life milk and it would be good to be able to get real milk on request. Admittedly I didn't ask.

Budget motel. I was delighted to find something i thought didn't exist - A nicely furnished room that was neutral but had character by the clever use of patterns and textures with the furnishings and artwork that didn't look like mass produced rubbish from a bargain shop. Facilities provided were good, clean and nicely arranged. I will return here when I'm next in Geelong. Given the price point and it being an old style motel I was pleasantly suprised and delighted with the room. I was here for the Ironman event

On a main road but was quiet as it possibly could being behind buildings at the entrance. lorikeets were noisy but who would complain about that? Not me. Only writing something here to keep a balance review but if either of those bother you, you should stay home.

The staff were so pleasant to deal with right from the beginning. I had to call to let them know that I was running a bit behind and I may not be there by close of checkout time they were so pleasant and spoke to me letting me know how to get to my room as well as message me my room number etc. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and the showers and amenities was great too. I definitely recommend here especially if you need to travel along the Coast but you’re only a few mins away from Geelong city centre as well and everything is so easy to get to. Thanks so much John and Lynne for your wonderful service and great accomodation apartment. Can’t wait to stay here again sometime.

Can’t fault anything.

This motel was very clean, and our room was nice and quiet. The allocated parking had plenty of space.

No contact from the people running the motel, it doesn’t take much to greet the people paying you. I tried to call them but could only leave a message, no-one returned my call. We also wanted to let them know that there were nails protruding from the carpet near the bathroom, they were very painful to walk on. And no cutlery, why wouldn’t there be even a teaspoon to stir your coffee? We also had takeaway, and needed forks, lucky we found some old takeaway ones in our glovebox!! The towels were like using sandpaper, a little bit of fabric softener, or something would have been appreciated. If there was actually someone to talk to at the motel, I would have told them all this in person, rather than putting it here.

I catered for my own breakfast, but the room was provided with all the utensils and equipment to enable this to happen, which was excellent. The location was excellent and gave easy access to all the places I needed to go to. Having the Grovedale Hotel right next door was a real bonus for meals at the bistro.

I couldn't access the free Wi-Fi, but it didn't concern me as I was able to hotspot off my mobile. I am sure that if I had asked management, it would have been sorted out.

We just love coming to geelong during our stay we visited the bells beach ripcurl championship and as always we totally loved it, this hotel always goes above and beyond for us and I should imagine all theiyre customers we will always come back to visit this hotel and thank you guys for your great hospitality and lovely friendly smiles see you again soon 😊 🤙

Convenient location for lunches and dinners right next to hotel. Did not order breakfasts. Short trip to very large shopping centre and ok drive to city. Heavy traffic, but outside motel's control.

Hot water in shower VERY touchy, from cold to boiling hot in a second. Bad enough for adults but coulde be VERY dangerous for children or aged person. Towels clean but very scratchy - maybe their contractor needs to be told about fabric softener :-)
