My room at the Aristocrat Waurnvale was extremely spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was perfect, and it was easy to get the water temperature just right. It was extremely helpful having a fridge, kettle, and microwave in my room. It was also easy to keep the room cool with air conditioning and a fan. I'm very grateful to Aristocrat Waurnvale for being so flexible as I needed to check in later and check out earlier than their usual hours. They were very accommodating.

It would be better if there was Wi-Fi available.

Quiet location, near to shops, near to our event, very large property

The property needs love & attention, gutters overflowing with weeds. Roof & doors needs cleaning, painting, safety lock on front door broken. Satnav location needs upgrading, maps sent us to incorrect location, had to get locals to direct us (so bad) Their contact phone no just says ‘message bank full’ Hardly any guests - I can see why. It was the closest Motel to our event that’s why we chose it.

This motel was a real surprise. Situated in a rural setting on a quiet country road yet it is less than a kilometre to Geelong, major shops and supermarkets and the M1. If you are staying over in Geelong or wanting somewhere to get a good nights sleep before heading down the Great Ocean Road, then this place is for you. Very quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced.

It was perfect for me.

I didn't have breakfast supplied by the motel, I had my own. Everything I needed was there and replaced daily if used, eg cutlery crockery. I love that there was a pool, and that it was hidden from the road.

I'm not a fan of the showers, having to step over the high side is tricky, I have a back injury and I have to be extra careful.

Breakfasts were excellent. The poached eggs & bacon cooked just rite. I had some uncooked brekkies so no point rating those. Best of all I didn’t have to pay for them ( & for $300 a nite for the room, just as well ). Shane, the owner, was freindly and had a good sense of humour. The room I was in had a spa bath (that I didn’t make enough use of).

I can’t think of anything to whinge about (again, except the cost, however that was my fault for leaving it so long to find a place during Avalon Airshow).To be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect re the motel but I wasn’t dissatisfied, unlike my experience with the airshow.

I didn't have the breakfast. However the location is nice. It has a rural feeling but you are very close to the shops aswell. You can't really here any traffic what so ever from the motel. I'd definitely stay again

Very nice and tidy accommodation, rooms were clean and great atmosphere to come back to after work. Staff were very friendly and answered any questions I had, would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area

Exceeded my expectations. An older style motel but very clean, comfortable and peaceful surrounds. Great value for money. Not centrally located in Geelong but easy access to the central city. Friendly and helpful staff.

dark lighting. carpet was stained. bathroom needed a bit of an overhaul. but still quite functional.
