The magnesium pool was amazing at 30° during winter, the park was nice and quiet at night and in the mornings, the staff offered a pancake breakfast for our family to raise money for Rural Aid (small donation), reception staff were helpful and friendly, free wi-fi, $2 per load laundry facilities (+$2 for dryer), small playground was available and a convenience cafe was also onsite. Opposite is a huge grassed area to play ball games, cricket, footy etc by the river. Set far enough back from main road.

People coming in with Caravans at night after 8.30pm, shining car lights right into our cabin, and also the full width blinds on the front window to exit the cabin. You have to put blinds fully up/down to get out through the middle of the doors. I think it would be easier to have sectional blinds x 3. Just a thought.

The facilities were immaculate, one of the cleanest holiday parks I have stayed. The room was heated on our arrival which was a pleasant touch for such a cold day, the room was very clean and had all linen supplied. The staff were very friendly and approachable, happy to help with anything. The heated pool was beautiful and clean, we spend quite some time in there. We also had a pancake breakfast on one of our mornings there cooked by the staff for a small donation to a charity. What a great idea!

The wifi was not working so used a lot of my personal data to run Netflix on the tv.

Friendly staff and very helpful in every way. They have absolutely everything at hand. My one night of leisure turned into a relaxing three day spa getaway. I never wanted to leave. I have stayed in many hotels, motels, appartments, and caravan parks over the years, and Discovery Parks is definitely at the top of my list. The cabins are just beautiful and extremely clean.They have everything. A beautiful kitchen to cook in, the lounge area had a good-sized TV, the heating and cooling was comfortable with split system air-conditioning. The bathroom was amazing with a great shower and a huge spa. The bedroom was so relaxing with another great TV and a bed that was absolute HEAVEN. Sitting outside on the front deck was relaxing and peaceful, as if we were a thousand miles away from Geelong. The staff keep to themselves but are on hand whenever they're needed. I absolutely love this place and will definitely be staying again. ❤️❤️❤️

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

The cabin was nice and spacious especially travelling with kids it was a quick overnight trip for medical but would be perfect for longer stay Indoor pool was great nice and warm on a freezing cold night Heating in cabin was great Staff were wonderful

The parking is very tight next to cabins . We unfortunately had ants all through kids bunk room daughter saw some I lifted mattress and there was heaps all under mattress and along walls .was candy and rubbish between slats and the metal frame there was bug spray I dealt with it didn't want to bother stuff so late as we arrived later .freaked her out so she slept on couch

Reception staff were very polite, friendly and welcoming, the cabin was very clean and comfortable our whole trip, there was adequate amount of towels and linen that lasted our stay, the cabin was spacious and met our needs, the park was clean, the pool was fantastic (salt water, indoor and heated!) and the playground was a highlight for the kids. Not to mention how friendly other guests were as they walked past, and respectful of noise considering it was a NYE/Day stay. We would 100% stay again, this has been our favourite discovery parks stay, we left feeling refreshed. Oh and that spa was amazing, kids loved it just as much as me. Thank you so so much for having us and being so accommodating. Hopefully we'll get to holiday with you again soon. Location as well was perfect, maccas and kmart behind us, quick trip to the Spirit of Tasmania terminals, the beach isn't that far away. It's very quiet considering the road going pass is a main road, couldn't hear our neighbours or the park behind us. The balcony was also great to have, was nice weather to sit outside and chill.

WiFi was a bit slow, but it served its purpose for our stay. A couple of extra towels would be good for bigger families. Maybe a bit picky, but the cabin was a 6 person but the dining table only holds 4 people around it.

Great value for money. We were happy to find that our cabin was more modern than what we saw in pictures. It had a great layout, with great kitchen and living space. The covered outdoor table was well used too. Comfortable beds and good size bathroom with reasonable water pressure. Excellent pool, playground and camp kitchen. Staff were helpful and super friendly. Cafe on site and ice cream truck visited each night which the kids loved!

The fans are noisy with a constant clicking noise, which we had to accept as it was a hot few days. Pillows are a little low but some may like them.

Cabin was well presented, spacious and clean. Kitchen was well equipped, toiletries were supplied. Bathroom was large and clean Very clean park surrounds. There was a bad storm and a large part of a tree came down- they were already removing it when we left at 8.40am the next morning Park was quiet and the indoor pool looked nice. There is a cafe on site which is handy

It was a very hot weekend and difficult to get cooling to the bedrooms. The fridge / freezer didn’t seem to be working fully however it didn’t matter for the items we had which was mostly drinks.

Great place to stay. Our family spent 4 nights there. Our cabin (No.75) was very comfortable, clean and tidy. Reverse cycle heater/air-con catered for seasonal weather. Beds were very-comfortable. Cabin had fully equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, microwave, stove and oven, pots and pans to prepare meals and not rely on Take-away. Very-well located not too far from City Centre (about 5 min drive) but still in quiet location that you didn't hear any City noise/traffic. Very-good amenities such as laundry, heated pool, BBQ area. In location where Supermarket/shops were close by in any direction. Highly recommend it.

Two very minor issues. 1. Would prefer to have a lock on toilet door. (Our family made a rule of when door shut, someone was in there or knock first before entering and leave door open after use.) 2. Slight issue with small TV in main bedroom not picking up all stations. Approx 6 stations missing. Picked up most but not all even after re-tuning stations. Possible slight fault with software in bedroom TV. Fortunately large, same-brand TV in lounge area picked up all stations.

We stayed in a superior 2 bedroom cabin. It was new, clean, and had everything that we needed. Towels, linen, and bathroom items were provided as well as fully functional kitchen with appliances and everything in between. Enough for one night or to at least get you started for an extended stay. The pool was indoors, and that is what made me book here ultimately so that my little one had something to do whilst I was working in the morning They accommodated us with a little bit of a later check out which was better as this trip was a mix of leisure and work. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again!! Thankyou Discovery Parks Geelong!

The bunk bed was probably a bit more firm and comfortable for me. The queen mattress was too soft, but again, for one night, it was fine. I would have like to have viewed the standard cabins they looked a little bigger but if you want clean and new superior is definitely the way to go.

Spacious cabins, decking was awesome. We spent most of our time outside. Playground is a big hit with the little ones Cafe on site made amazing coffee ☕️

The bedding was like hospital bedding and not very comfortable. The mattress itself was great. We rented 2 cabins and the second cabin didn't have a doona cover, just a doona between 2 sheets. Pool is also only open 6am to 9pm and we would've loved to have a swim after kids went to bed
