Bed was very comfortable. Room was a good size, modern and clean with the ability to change the temperature of the air conditioning. Linens were clean and towels were thick. Staff were excellent; friendly and helpful. Parking right at the door. Restaurant was expensive but food was lovely. You would definitely need a car if staying at this hotel.

That it wasn't possible to sleep with a window (or door to the balcony) open and the air conditioning turned off. There was some noise from the adjacent road but it didn't stop us from sleeping well and the road is almost 'rural' so the traffic wasn't bad at night.

Our stay at Curlews was delightful. We were there to have a weekend away for our Babymoon. The room was spotless, and we were pleased to receive a top-floor room with a king bed, just as we had requested. The space was much larger and more open than we expected, and the spacious balcony offered a beautiful view of the golf course. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome.

The only downside was our breakfast experience at Claribeaux. While the wait staff were lovely and the restaurant itself had a stylish and inviting atmosphere, the food fell short. We paid $25 each for a $30 breakfast credit, but the menu options were quite limited—especially for someone with dietary needs. Despite having $60 in credit, we only managed to spend around $40, so the added value felt a bit underwhelming. More disappointing was that one of the meals was noticeably burnt and had been hidden beneath the other items on the plate, which left a sour note on an otherwise pleasant stay.

It is stunning. We had the most beautiful view of the Golf course from our room. All the amenities are super clean. We were also greeted by the friendliest staff and were made to feel so welcome. My partner loved the tablet in the room that gave us information on anything we needed during our stay such as info about the room and things we can do in the area. Im not one to go on a holiday back to the same place, but we will be back. Such a lovely experience.

The most minor inconvenience is that it is next to the main road so u can hear the cars during the day. Some would see it as a plus though because it makes it super easy to travel all over the Bellarine peninsula.

Loved the clean accommodation. The staff were very friendly, especially the front office staff. The food at the restaurant was amazing. The views are spectacular. The scenery is beautiful. Our room was clean, modern, and loved the colour pallet. The beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again. Very convenient location.

Being an arachnophobe, there was a bit too many spider webs around...not a deal breaker as there were no spiders in our room. However, there was a huge web in the room in the bottom of the sliding door well. And the outdoor furniture and railing had lots of webs. Even the outside bar stools at the bar had cobwebs underneath them. I think a pest control visit is necessary.

Nice golf course and cute accomodation. Neat and tidy rooms. Make sure you pre-book the driving range in advance! The snack food at the hotel sandwiches, chips etc were nice for dinner if you don’t want something too fancy. Comfy bed and did the job for what we needed. Staff lovely and helpful! Great view from room.

Rooms were quite small, especially for the price. We booked a Fairway View and the road noise from inside the room wasn’t great! If you are a light sleeper it would be really annoying. Breakfast was also not very good (unsure if new chef due to holiday period). They served burnt toast for our child (Staff were nice and brought out new toast and didn’t charge us to compensate). No streaming/chromecast but apparently they are going to be getting this soon.

We absolutely loved staying here! We wished that we could have spent another night there but unfortunately we needed to get back to Melbourne! The staff were so sweet and accommodating! The room was so beautiful 😍 the view was so cute and the little bath robes were so adorable and warm! We also had breakfast there the next morning and the prices are so so cheap and the food was delicious! I especially loved the electronic blinds and the very informative ipad/tablet next to the bed with all the information you could need about the place and the surrounding things to see and restaurants!

We stayed at Curlewis as it was close to Drysdale where we were boarding the Q train for lunch and we didn't want to drive from Bendigo and get straight on the train. Accomodation at Curlewis was a lovely room with a view over the golf course and small lake in the course. We had a Bay view room, but I think that was a little harder to see. It was still a pleasant and relaxing outlook with the odd "fore!" in the background. The bed was comfortable and ultra clean, as was the room. We had everything we needed for a comfortable night's stay and the water pressure on the shower was so good I wanted to stay there longer than I did. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and both were fantastic! Certainly a class above pub fare or the local takeaway/restaurant. There was a great selection to choose from and reserving got us a table by the window - easy peasy :) We'd go there again if we were touring the area as it was good value.

Only one thing I could comment on was that the rooms were set up to be interconnecting for groups with a door between the rooms internally. Whilst there was double glazing on the windows and the walls seemed sturdy enough, we did hear the radio/tv from the room next to use through the connecting door. This was fine for us as our neighbours didn't stay up late but I could see this being a minor niggle if they had not.

Staff were friendly and helpful from the first contact, our room was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful view of the golf course and bay view in the distance. It was a perfect spot to sit enjoying a glass of bubbles and catching up with a dear friend. The restaurant was accommodating for dietary needs and the food was lovely, especially the seafood. Loved the special touches of the cute rubber ducky in the bathroom and fluffy robes to enjoy while staying. Fabulous value for money. We are definitely going to return to enjoy it all again. Only downside was that we didn’t stay two nights!!!

We loved our stay. It was a surprise weekend away for my partner and I wanted somewhere close to Geelong as we were going to the Matildas match. To be on a golf course was great as we were able to go to the driving range and also be close to water as we brought our SUP down a well. The check in staff were very helpful in booking a spot at the driving range and also letting us know about the buffet breakfast available on Sunday as well. It was a great weekend away that my partner enjoyed her surprise. very happy with it overall.

Fantastic few nights at Curlewis golf course. The room was well appointed with a lovely view and a few small touches (hot choc powder, water & milk) that we loved. Service was brilliant, the accomodation manager who checked us in was so wonderful and every interaction with him during our stay felt that bit extra. Overall would recommend for your next stay

The accommodation is close to the main road so can be nosy if you the balcony/sitting in the room with the doors open.
