Great location. Lovely breakfast lots of choices.

Shower over bath is not my favourite, but fine. However, a 25cm tap spout protruding into the tub, directly under the rain shower makes things awkward. Similarly the toilet roll holder being fixed to the wall next to the cistern is not easy to reach. Would be much better under the bench in an easy to reach spot. We were staying three nights and were given 3 teabags and 3 decafe coffee sachets.

Review for Eden Oak Geelong – Waratah Apartment Wow, what a find! Eden Oak Geelong is an absolute gem, and our stay in the Waratah Apartment was nothing short of perfect. Tucked away in the lush gardens, just 5 km from the hustle and bustle of Geelong’s main streets, this place is the ultimate getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its retro-classy, 70’s vibe – it truly has character and charm. The apartment itself was cosy and inviting, with soft, comfortable beds that made it hard to leave. But when we finally did drag ourselves out of bed, the shower was a true highlight – the pressure was out of this world! Honestly, one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. We also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, and let me tell you, both the meals and breakfast were delicious – a real treat for the taste buds. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the piano in the lobby. We had such a fun time playing some tunes, and it was the perfect setting for relaxing in the cozy space. Plus, there’s 24-hour access to free coffee and hot chocolate, so you can keep the vibes going any time you like. Oh, and did I mention the pool table? It was a great way to unwind in between everything else. We didn’t get the chance to use the gorgeous pool and spa outside, but that's definitely on our list for our next visit! We can’t wait to come back and make even more memories here. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation, charm, and nostalgia. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent proximity to Geelong so it was walking distance for New Year’s fireworks. Close to the botanic Gardens which I think is a huge plus especially if you’re coming in from out of town. Pricing is very good value. If you book far enough ahead and especially compared to other accommodation in Geelong rooms are well styled and bathrooms have been very well renovated. The breakfast has a lot of variety including cakes all different types of breads bagels, pancakes and when we stayed had a hot option of noodles or rice. Pool and spa look lovely and clean and in a good sunny spot but didn’t make time to get in.

Not a lot of choices for breakfast. They had run out of various items on different days. Was told they were understaffed and unable to offer the egg cooking station. More hot food choices needed at breakfast such as mushrooms, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, baked beans and cooked tomatoes. Unable to order any food during the day. Cleaning staff could be noisy in the mornings, heard outside our room in the corridors and outside below our window (talking loudly) Feedback is only being offered to help make improvements to a very well located, spacious and beautifully decorated hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great! We were there for Christmas and the hotel put on a great Christmas day lunch. Breakfast was good although I would have liked some more traditional breakfast foods (eggs, bacon/sausage, etc). Overall, great stay and very nice rooms.

No elevator to brings bags to the room. The shower only had a partial door and the shower head was in a weird spot. I ended up getting the floor fairly wet and I am not sure there was really anything better I could have done to avoid it.

Wonderful location. Very interesting modernist design and layout, carefully and sympathetically updated with contemporary fittings and amenities. Perfect for a quiet stay: park location + enclosed landscaped courtyard with lovely designed heated pool. You just want to lounge there; and if you are there on business the place is the perfect oasis to get back to after work.

Breakfast could be better. Good variety but very basic quality. Fully operational restaurant and bar would make the place great (but then it would get busier, and the magic and the quietness of the place might go).There is a lot of space that could easily accommodate a spa or other facilities. and the location should be perfect for it.

breakfast was great, added facilities and freedom to move around and use was an added advantage, the pool was lovely, area quiet, restful and in nature yet close to main city centre- each the reasons why we would return at a point in the future.

Room was smaller than we realised, quite cluttered with extra unused bed- though understand why it was there. the extra property facilities overcome this space issue. no bedside table (on side of bed to edge of room), so I use the room rubbish bin as my side table so I had somewhere to place my phone etc beside me while I slept. A small table in the corner of the room would have been appreciated and of benefit.

Its our 100% value for money winner for this trip, that was an unexpected positive all thumbs up. - Clean & practical rooms, everything you need at a good standard - situated among trees in a park right next to the CBD and beach in Geelong (10 min walk) - lots if animals to see in the park only a few hundred meters (flying foxes, Kakadus, …) - free good choice breakfast - very good Thai restaurant in the evening - clean laundry facilities - lots of parking - daily room cleaning - free pool tables fir some evening entertainment - friendly helpful reception staff - lots of free parking

It had a eco friendly type facility surrounded by bush gardens. Although the room was a bit on the small side the room was nicely presented and very up to date loved the bathroom. Loved the bar and dining area which presented lovely Chinese food and not expensive at all. The breakfasts was part of the accommodation deal offering simple to cooked breakfasts. Loved the pools and the sun deck or lounge areas to enjoy a pre dinner drink. I would have liked an extra blanket and pillow to be available in my room. This accomodation right near the Botanical Gardens.
