Brand new hotel. Room was well designed, the bathroom particularly so. Minimalist decor but pops of colour were attractive. I would recommend a stay for business or leisure. Maestro restaurant a pleasant ambience and good food. Breakfast had a good range. Public areas such as foyer and lift were sparkling clean. All staff were courteous, helpful and keen. Close to main amenities in Geelong.

No mini-bar. Some bottled water would have been good. The parking, managed by a different company I think, even though you park in the hotel basement, was quite a steep price for overnight. Would add up if you were staying a few days!

Honestly, this was a really nice stay! The hotel was very clean, which is my top priority when choosing accommodation. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions. The location was also excellent—convenient and close to everything I needed. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Even though the breakfast had plenty of options, I didn’t think the food and coffee were the best—especially the eggs and omelette. The biggest downside for me was the room service. It was very expensive for really small portions, and the quality wasn’t great. The vegan salad, in particular, was disappointing - see photo attached. That being said, this wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. If I visit Geelong, I’d still choose this hotel.

Bar was a nice spot to work from at night. Nice staff.

Fire alarm destroyed my Thursday evening. I understand there can be fire alarms when there is no fire, but there was ZERO explanation to why it went off and why we spent too long outside in the cold. And, going back in, I asked if the bar was going to be open to sooth my pain, but no. It was really badly managed. I might have well slept on the street. To make this extremely worse, I was preparing for a very significant work event the next day and had to check out very early and had hardly any sleep. My work was underdone and I was underprepared. This absolutely destroyed my experience at your hotel.

Very family friendly. Able to have the two big beds in one room, lots of room for luggage and actual drawers, shelves and places you could put things without children getting to them. Also a little door clip that meant the kids couldn't pull open the door (and no one could be able to get in even with a swipe card). Children under 12 eat free if an adult has breakfast. Overall a great place, helpful staff and great location particularly for the arts centre. Make sure to book your onsite parking in advance.

There was only one working lift which seemed to go to the top of the building and stop at every floor so you would press the button at level 2 and then have to wait a few cycles before there was enough room to get on the lift. The breakfast food was a buffet style breakfast where you can order eggs/omelette, but have to pay for real coffee. Not unexpected but not my favourite. We were out for the day at an event. Left around 9 and back to the room about 3 and had the please clean sign on but the room wasn't cleaned.

Comfortable beds with a delicious breakfast buffet. Well worth adding on breakfast prior to checking in for the best value for money. The shower in our suite was huge with really great water pressure, and the balcony off our corner suite was a nice luxury, especially having both bay and sunset views.

Small downside was that the additional area in the suite had a small one-person day lounge crammed into the corner, with a small footstool as a second chair for the table. This, along with the Belgian waffles not being toasted at breakfast. But this won't deter me from booking again

The hotel was in a great location to everything in Geelong, the rooms were new and not run down, the shower was great, the little kitchen we had came in handy, the pool was relaxing with no screaming kids around whenever we went down and buffet breakfast was nice.

Bed was a little hard, parking should be free and included not have to pay $35 a night and the lift having to only use the one was quite painful having to wait a while sometimes just to get up or down was horrible, by the comments I’ve read it looks like it’s been out for a while why isn’t it fixed yet.

Luxurious hotel, we loved the decor, King bed and pillows extremely comfortable and we loved being on the 10th floor, so quiet with spectacular views of GMHBA stadium. We were treated with a drinks voucher for our wedding anniversary, thank you! Loved the pool too and so much variety at the buffet breakfast.

Lifts were a bit slow with 1 of 2 out of action. Bar staff at Maestro not very knowledgeable re alcohol choices, served dead flat bubbly which I had to ask to be replaced. Service slow, doubled up orders etc. didn't seem experienced enough for the high end venue that it is.

Breakfast is great, location good, and rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Parking is reasonably priced and convenient. Staff are friendly and obliging.

People (including parents) jumping and diving into the pool. There didn't seem to be any regard for the "No diving/jumping" signs and children were unsupervised as parents stared at their phones. The kids eat free at breakfast offer is great, although the hotel has also created it's own definition of a child being 12 years and under, in contradiction of the legal definition of a child which is any person under 18 years of age. We also were asked for a deposit for our stay this time, which hasn't been a requirement previously.

The hotel is new and has an aesthetic vibe. Location is great within a walking distance of where we wanted to go. We enjoyed the pool and the buffet breakfast. The room is soundproof so you cannot hear people’s noise in the hallways. It was great they booked the parking for me over the phone as it says fully booked online. Our room which is king room with sea view is spacious and beautiful. We requested a microwave for our room and it was granted.

The room was sparkling clean when we entered but we found a bag of rubbish inside the cupboard while we were putting away our clothes. Our keycard stops working every after breakfast so we have to go down at the reception to get it working. First time we were told it was the privacy lock but we didnt think so as it disables when you open the door so they had someone to go upstairs with us and open the door. The second time they just had to reactivate our card.

Good location and friendly staffs, with mostly standard offering what you would expect from Holiday Inn. Our premier king room and premier double room was spacious and clean. And the hotel reserved 2 rooms that are close to each other as requested.

We pre-booked packing as we were travelling by car, the car park is a shared with the apartment in the same building and the hotel has limited allocated parking bays. When coming back from dinner, all the allocated parking bays has been occupied and we had to contact the hotel reception and they then guided us to some additional space that the hotel could use. This is a bit of an annoyance since we have pre booked parking for the day when we made the room reservation. Also we drove a EV and there are 2 chargers available in the car park unfortunately the parking bays near the charges are all occupied by ICE cars, so I was not able to charge my car while parked at the hotel.
