We really appreciated the proximity to the town of Queenscliff, also to our event, and other family members were staying there. We had a hire car but being able to walk to our relatives' house next to Swan Bay was excellent. There are various types of accommodation onsite and I would perhaps choose an apartment next time as my sister and brother-in-law did. We had a cabin although I would call it a miniature cottage of sorts. It was quite old in decor whereas their so-called apartment had more recent decor. My brother-in-law and sister are familiar with the concept as they have done caravan and 4Wheel Drive touring and had been members at one stage. Not my cup of tea though. I mostly choose hotels these days across the world but may have well have chosen the park when my children were little. I will no longer support AirBnB these days for various reasons. However I knew nothing of such a place as Ingenia Park living but they seem to be common all over Australia. Do your research as it appeared good for young families perhaps on a budget.

It was suitable for the purpose.

Our cabin was more than adequate for my wife, our grandson and myself with two great bedrooms (the main with a mini walk-in robe) so plenty of storage space; a generous living area with an extremely well equipped kitchen, good sized refrigerator, cooktop, “dining” area and couch … plenty of space for play! Also a lovely outdoor area with table and chairs and a car parking space. The linen was clean, towels were fluffy and absorbent, the shower was of a good size, hot water was plentiful, cleaning products were provided and lots of activities available for children - jumping pillow, playground/s, Pedal Go-karts, bicycles, scooters, indoor heated pool and daily “hands on” art activities. BBQ areas are available for all, a laundry and a kiosk on site. The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful no matter what the request or dilemma.

The only real improvement from our viewpoint would be the inclusion of a mat in the shower as the base is quite slippery when wet and, although peppermint tea bags are provided (as an alternative to tea and coffee) I think hot chocolate sachets would be even better!

The pool was perfect. I went with my 83 yrs old mother and she doesn’t get around to easily but loves a swim. The gym was more than adequate too.

Should’ve upgraded to the single beds with the double and not the kids bunks. I took the bunks as I gave my mother the double that’s more my poor decision making. So my sleeping was a bit uncomfortable. Tried to sync my Netflix to the Tele and couldn’t get that to work which was a bit frustrating but I’m on holiday. Shouldn’t be worrying about the tv I guess. Could be my provider or the area for internet too.

Great for kids to roam around & plenty for them to do. Staff super smiley & helpful! Cabin was clean, beds made nicely & warm! Close to Queenscliff.& Pt Lonsdale for outings/dinners to mix it up. The gym was decent!

Unfortunately it rained one day & the jumping pillow stayed wet with puddles for the next 2 days.. kids were excited to play on it more. The playground was tired looking & really just for little kids, it’ll be great to have older kids playground too. Where’s the monkey bars they said! The map said there was a skate park but there wasn’t, this would also be fantastic to have especially for the older kids.

Beautiful Big 4 Clean and well maintained, Staff very Helpful, Secure entry/exit by Pin Number. Very family orientated, lots of facilities and things to entertain the young and teenage Kids. Small shop near reception. Easy to enter and exit off round about. We stayed in 2 bedroom Villa, spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, parking beside villa. Hot water excellent. Air con kept us warm as weather was cold wet and windy in July when we stayed. Ocean Grove 20 mins drive Queenscliff had lots of nice shops bakeries great meat pies and a fish and chip shop 😋 Would stay again excellent.

I only stayed one night while I was in the area for work. The double bed was very comfortable and toilet and kitchen were really good two. I think the single beds are thought for children as they seemed a bit small, but they would be comfortable enough for an adult of my height (5.5 feed) or a bit taller.

There isn't any restaurant, pub or take away within walking distance. I didn't bring food and I had been driving all day, so it would have been nice to be able to walk to dinner. Maybe you can get some food delivered - I didn't check, but some good options within a 5 min drive in Queenscliff or Point Lonsdale.

Comfort, contemporary design of the villa, the two bathrooms, the indoor pool and landscaping

The kiosk didn’t stock a lot of items it advertised (lots were out of stock); fob for the boom gate was t properly keyed so we took them back to reception — still had only one functional fob after two trips. The written materials (ie compendium) promised things like door-to-door barista coffee in the mornings. When I asked about this service, I was told “we don’t do that anymore”. I put this and the chaos of ordering on hungry hungry and picking my order down to hiccups in with change of ownership.

Clean and modern apartment and facilities to entertain the kids

Pool opening times could be open a little earlier considering kids are up by 6am (instead of 8am opt for 7am to align with other accomodation facilities 2nd bedroom king bed sunk and woke up with a sore back those two nights But overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay Pool and indoor play centre was a hit for our little girl considering it was raining those two days 😀

Our cabin was clean, facilities for kids were great, staff were helpful and accommodating. A nice 12 min drive down the road from the Winter Glow event we were attending. Check in process was smooth, easy and staff accommodated our check in request, which was very helpful considering we had three toddlers eager to get out of the car.

Only a couple negatives, but this did not affect our stay too much as we stayed one night. Our television was not working in the cabin, there were no instructions on how to get the heating working, there were not enough towels for the amount of beds/ people that were in the cabin, and no toilet facilities near the reception area for a toddler who was busting to go bathroom (Lucky our room was ready, so we rushed into the cabin).

Great facilities for the kids! Park was well maintained and lots of things to do. The shop with barista made coffees was great and the room had loads of towels which is handy!

The pool was a little bit cold. Go kart bikes cost $12 for an hour and the games room is filled with 6 claw machines which cost a fortune and the kids want to use them because there isn’t a lot else in there. But regardless, we had lots of fun.
