The location as it was right on the shopping strip. Also it was well stocked with coffee pods etc, plus lots of crockery which meant we could have other people join us for dinner. The bbq and the large outdoor table setting was a great plus also. It was much larger than we expected and having two bathrooms even though only one bedroom was available was handy also.

We didn’t get much information about how to check in and about parking until after we had checked out and that was through booking.com. A woman did meet us and show us the room but we were still confused about how to access the parking. It wasn’t clear that the key code to access the parking was the same as your room. A large apartment is hard to keep clean. We spilt water on the balcony, with no mops available, the dirt turned into a fine layer of mud. Not pleasant. If there had been a mop and bucket available I would have happily mopped the balcony down.

Close proximity to all restaurants and bars Sorrento has to offer. Very clean spacious apartment, comfy beds and quality linen. Plenty of bottled water provided.

In my opinion probably a bit pricey for one night, for the time of year (May). Woken in the early hours of the morning by very rowdy neighbours (not the fault of Carmels at all) but I guess for the price noise shouldn't be a factor. Would be nice to have a milk frother to go with the coffee machine.

A large, well equipped apartment in a great location. Comfortable bed. Secure parking.

It was unfortunate that each night our sleep was disturbed by loud laughter, talking and shouting apparently coming from a property next door. Maybe it was mostly effecting us in apartment 2 and maybe the apartment above us. The noise continued each night past midnight. Of course this is probably beyond what the Carmens can manage. A pity.

Carmel at Sorrento advertise online as luxury and ultra luxury. But they aren’t. It is spacious self contained in a great location. The cleaning was poor; floor needed mopping prior to arrival, bathroom average cleanliness, and the couch was disgusting with so many stains. I was informed nothing had been done for 5 years and management were looking at the issue.

Brilliant location, super comfy beds and great responsive management with any concerns. Loved the coffee vouchers too! My older teenage children loved it as they could walk to everything they wanted to.

It’s just a couple of doors down from a bar that turns into a nightclub at 11pm and the noise carries into the bedroom. The first night was a bit of a shock but we got used to it. At least it finished at 1am. Also the couch looked great, but wasn’t that comfy.

Location and facilities

The family room furniture uncomfortable and not ideal for relaxing . the smell of sewerage whilst in our balcony want pleasant whilst we are outside . we got stuck in the lift which was quite scary for us with our daughter , so we used yeh stairs for remaining holiday .

The finishes, televisions, BBQ and mostly the position was outstanding.

Given that 6 people were staying in the room, an additional couch would make it much more comfortable. Also, it would be much better if there were more than 6 of each plate. You are constantly washing dishes or eating dinner off a side plate.

1 bedroom apartment had 2 toilets and 2 separate bathrooms plus 2 televisions and every mod con you could need. There was also secure parking and keypad access to the building and to the room.

That we only stayed one night.

Excellent location. Amenities. Spacious. Just beautiful. Easy check in and very relaxing stay. Highly recommend choosing here to stay and will definatley stay again, without hesitation.
