Great location. Lovely breakfast lots of choices.
Shower over bath is not my favourite, but fine. However, a 25cm tap spout protruding into the tub, directly under the rain shower makes things awkward. Similarly the toilet roll holder being fixed to the wall next to the cistern is not easy to reach. Would be much better under the bench in an easy to reach spot. We were staying three nights and were given 3 teabags and 3 decafe coffee sachets.

Review for Eden Oak Geelong – Waratah Apartment Wow, what a find! Eden Oak Geelong is an absolute gem, and our stay in the Waratah Apartment was nothing short of perfect. Tucked away in the lush gardens, just 5 km from the hustle and bustle of Geelong’s main streets, this place is the ultimate getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its retro-classy, 70’s vibe – it truly has character and charm. The apartment itself was cosy and inviting, with soft, comfortable beds that made it hard to leave. But when we finally did drag ourselves out of bed, the shower was a true highlight – the pressure was out of this world! Honestly, one of the best showers I’ve ever had. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. We also had the pleasure of dining at their restaurant, and let me tell you, both the meals and breakfast were delicious – a real treat for the taste buds. One of our favourite parts of the stay was the piano in the lobby. We had such a fun time playing some tunes, and it was the perfect setting for relaxing in the cozy space. Plus, there’s 24-hour access to free coffee and hot chocolate, so you can keep the vibes going any time you like. Oh, and did I mention the pool table? It was a great way to unwind in between everything else. We didn’t get the chance to use the gorgeous pool and spa outside, but that's definitely on our list for our next visit! We can’t wait to come back and make even more memories here. I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect balance of relaxation, charm, and nostalgia. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent proximity to Geelong so it was walking distance for New Year’s fireworks. Close to the botanic Gardens which I think is a huge plus especially if you’re coming in from out of town. Pricing is very good value. If you book far enough ahead and especially compared to other accommodation in Geelong rooms are well styled and bathrooms have been very well renovated. The breakfast has a lot of variety including cakes all different types of breads bagels, pancakes and when we stayed had a hot option of noodles or rice. Pool and spa look lovely and clean and in a good sunny spot but didn’t make time to get in.
Can’t fault this property and will stay again

From the moment we arrived, we felt we were cared for. The Receptionist whom we dealt with on arrival, Denise, was courteous, welcoming and proactively helpful. She anticipated and offered assistance for our special needs. Extremely positive and helpful. The complex is in a lovely area, within a beautiful park. The Bathrooms were modern and clean. And the breakfast/dining area was exceptional: wide range of freshly cooked, delicious foods and helpful staff on hand for assistance.
There was nothing I disliked. I would HIGHLY recommend this Hotel for all potential guests. We will certainly stay there again on our next visit to Geelong. And I will highly recommend it to others.

Lovely rooms… super comfy beds (pillows were a let down tho )… Rooms were toasty warm on a cold winters day… thank you for warming our room prior to arrival. Good quality thick towels is always a plus for me, nice shampoo/conditioner/ body wash provided. Breakfast was nice… scrambled eggs, baked beans, bacon, cereals, pancakes, a variety of breads, juices and ready made granola and yogurt… yummmm. Plus a coffee machine, that made nice coffee. Not too many selection, but what they had was lovely… I prefer quality, rather than quantity any day…(no fruit available tho, would have been nice to have fresh fruit for breakfast) Staff were lovely, attentive and very friendly … Quick and efficient check-in/check out process is always a plus
Pillows were ridiculously pancake-flat (cheap and nasty ones), so I had to fold two of them to get a decent height for comfort. Our bed didn’t have a top sheet, I’m definitely a top sheet kinda girl. So it felt weird. Plus I like to sleep on the cool side overnight, but I couldn’t pull the doona down bc it had no top sheet TV was a bit old, and remote wasn’t working very well, so it was very frustrating navigating thru channels. Wifi terrible-a lot of lag when watching movies Shower over bath, not good… extremely dangerous.. they should have handrails for getting in and out . It had a bath mat, but it kept lifting -so it was very dangerous… cleaner forgot to clean underneath, as it had previous guest hair underneath … and a lot of it (yuk yuk yuk)

Location was great. Loved the decor Very spacious
Not a lot of choices for breakfast. They had run out of various items on different days. Was told they were understaffed and unable to offer the egg cooking station. More hot food choices needed at breakfast such as mushrooms, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, baked beans and cooked tomatoes. Unable to order any food during the day. Cleaning staff could be noisy in the mornings, heard outside our room in the corridors and outside below our window (talking loudly) Feedback is only being offered to help make improvements to a very well located, spacious and beautifully decorated hotel.

The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great! We were there for Christmas and the hotel put on a great Christmas day lunch. Breakfast was good although I would have liked some more traditional breakfast foods (eggs, bacon/sausage, etc). Overall, great stay and very nice rooms.
No elevator to brings bags to the room. The shower only had a partial door and the shower head was in a weird spot. I ended up getting the floor fairly wet and I am not sure there was really anything better I could have done to avoid it.

Excellent location, was able to enjoy the park each morning, breakfast great, inhouse thai restaurant in the evening convenient and good food. Staff helpful and the location for working in Geelong area is good. If it was warmer I would have enjoyed the pool too
I had a room with a (locked) door to an adjoining room, the noise from next door was not well insulted and I was kept up with their conversation, they weren't being overly loud, just the door allowed the noise to transfer too easily. It is a drive to anywhere else for dinner, but I prefer this over being right in the city.

The room was comfortable. Really nice bathroom. Like the fact that toiletries are not in single use disposable bottles / packets. Was great to have breakfast included. It was basic, but surprisingly good. The pool looked nice too, although I didn't use it. Hotel is in a very interesting setting - in the middle of a massive park, but not far from the water, so very quiet and good spot for a morning walk before breakfast.
The AC took quite a while to warm the room up. It was a bit like a rabbit warren inside the hotel - not easy to navigate.
