The room had a decent bit of space, with a double and single bed, room to move, bence, fridge, everything we needed really. The bathroom - just a shower, no bath in this one - was very small but quite functional. The staff were amazing - my friend and I were there to attend a live music show. When my friend, who has a disibility, was struggling to remain standing all I had to do was mention a chair to the staff and we had one delivered, right down the front, with a great view of the stage. Huge thanks to both security and venue management who did not hesitate to help out. Good security too, with a locked door closing off the area with the rooms, which was just opened with the room key.

I'd love a shower door rather than the curtain that got pulled into the warm air vortex and stuck to me. It's an older place, which is noticeable, but that doesn't mean it's not nice.

Breakfast n/a. Staff greeting & welcome absolutely AWESOME! Staff overwhelmingly nade me feel i was important! Personally showing me to my hotel room upstairs, & even offering to go to the car oark to assist with my belongings! I could have been @ the Hotel Windsor or the Oresidents suite @ Crown Casino ! Fabulous service which made me feel like a Princess !! The large relaxed garden & in door dining rooms were vert very popular & all staff extremely attentive, polite , extraordinarily professional !!!!! 12/10

The view from my window - industrial air conditioner but its a necessity or business . The friendly Pigeons were cute & amiable & delightful!

Great value for money, simple pub accommodation with exceptional cleanliness and linen with excellent views from many of the rooms. Great staff and nice to stay in a place with character.

Apparently it can get noisy when there are events on. There wasn’t when we stayed and I brought earplugs just in case, but worth considering if that is an issue for you. Also note there are stairs if mobility is an issue, though staff offered to help with luggage. Not an issue for us at all. Great stay. Will come back.

The location was great. I was attending a function near by so I was able to walk to the function. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was good security at the property. The room was clean and generally comfortable.

There was only a sheer curtain in the bathroom /toilet .There was no other blind or heavier curtain to maintain privacy. Yes it was on the first floor but with the bathroom light on in the evening anyone in the properties across the road could possibly see into my bathroom. I did not feel it provided enough privacy for me.

We entered the hotel from the dining area of the bar and walked up the stairs. The hotel room was old, but tidy and spacious. It had a door to a verandah with lovely views of the beach. The heating was 2 small plug in heaters. The bed was comfy. The shower was fine. It is in fabulous location, close to supermarket and great cafes.

Only that it was quite old and using small plug in heaters.

Accomodation was a free standing unit 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Property close to shops and cafes, very quite and spotlessly clean with all facilities for a family or group to use including BBQ and outdoor area lock up garage supplied.

Minor problem booking in, as reception is at Hotel and property is off site but once we found staff member who was accross accomodation all was good.

It was an excellent location. The room was quite large and spacious and I booked it at a rock bottom price during a peak season. They can get away with charging a lot more than what I paid. They warned me about the noise on a Saturday night but to be honest I felt the noise wasn’t too bad where my room was positioned. I feel asleep within 10 minutes.

The rooms could do with a refurb, but I was quite comfortable and it was so cheap that I wouldn’t expect the suites to be new anyway.

We came to see a band, so it was great to be able to stay at the same place. The room was lovely and clean and bright and had everything we needed, it also had character and a great beach view. The meals were great too.

I had contacted the property twice to ask if early check-in or late checkout were available, but received no response.

Location was excellent and locals were very friendly.Staff were great and very helpful.

Unfortunately the food in the bistro was cold so only dined there the once .We understand it's a hotel but would have loved a microwave to heat up food or access to a microwave even.

Liked everything, including value, location and room(s). Our one bedroom apartment (separately-roomed double and single beds) at the front of the hotel overlooked both the Barwon River and to a lesser extent the ocean. Everything worked, no noise, very comfortable. Next to bus stop.
