The resort has a mix of cabin rooms and camp sites. The setting is idyllic right on Lacc St Jean. The rooms are well maintained. There is a huge fireplace area for the guests to enjoy nightly. The restaurant has a small menu, but everything was well prepared and presented.

I understand the resort is celebrating its 50th year. BUT, with the onset of global warming and daytime temps, now routinely hitting 35 and nights in the 20's the placing g of a small fan I. The room simply no longer cuts it. Given the size of the room, a small 8,000 BTU AC unit would be more than sufficient The property has a bar which is advertised as being open 1600 hrs - 0300 hrs. We were there on the 1st of Aug PRIME tourist season only to find the bar was closed. Lastly, I am a veteran, with a disability riding a 3 wheeled motorcycle. When we arrived, we were advised that we needed to place our luggage in a wheelbarrow, and move it the 150 feet or so to our room even though the path would have permitted me to ride to within 5 feet to load/unload.

Breakfast (which wasn't included and was in the restaurant) was excellent. The facilities are basic, but were clean and comfortable. The location is very peaceful and is great for accessing the bicycle route.

The service in the restaurant at supper time was slow. There was only one front-end staff member and she was the hostess and also the server for several tables.

Beautiful location on the water, with a beachfront. Quiet, comfortable basic room in first floor of a two-story cottage. Restaurant on site was convenient if a bit pricey. Locked shed to store bicycles.

All good, can't think of any negatives.

Well located. Comfy beds. Fridge and microwave available in room. Picnic benches, places for bonfires and wood available in front of water. Separate communal kitchen.

No coffee or tea in room (I notice nowhere in the region offers tea), just coffee maker.

The food at the restaurant was much better than expected. The property is beautifully situated on the river, which made for a great walk in the morning.

I wouldn't have minded a room with a private bath but that limitation was clear when I booked, and the bathroom was clean and shared with only one other rooom.

The dinner service was wonderful. Great staff and extraordinary high end food.

breakfast service was very slow for cyclists trying to get off on the road in the morning, but the food itself was very good.

The room was very quiet, in a chalet in the woods. We loved the breeze through the open windows at night. Other guests were quiet and respectful.
