Lovely hotel built in the 1890s, very friendly staff, cosy room, fantastic breakfast rooms with beautiful design. Central, everything within reach. Can recommend Saltö for swimming (Stumholmen had a sign saying "due to algal bloom, swimming is not recommended right now"). City map available at the reception (that was very helpful). I was especially happy about the many vegan options at breakfast (vegan salami, vegan cheese, plant based butter, oat milk and yoghurt, a lot of fruit). Very comfortable bed. Thanks to the staff's recommendation, I went on a ship trip around Karlskrona which I enjoyed a lot.

I only regret that I did not stay longer in Karlskrona. The city is very lovely. I almost wanted to buy art at the Blekingemuseum exhibition, but did not have the means to transport it.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city center with amazing areas and paintings and amazing staircases. It was a wonderful experience! The staff were nice and friendly, the breakfast buffet was out of this world! An absolute gem and incredibly high quality for the price!! Highly recommend! We had an amazing time!

The only thing is the parking, you can only park on the street, although it was not hard to find a parking spot and the prices are very reasonable, so also not a problem!

Beautiful historical building in the city center. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful setting. Perfect location in the city center, in walking distance to the main attractions of the town (harbor, marina, shops, etc.)

The hotel might profit from a renovation. It might get quite loud at night (motorcycles on full speed/noise).

Great location, old world charm, spacious rooms, when compared with some modern hotels. Wonderful breakfast.

Poor lighting in the room. Some lightbulbs missing in appliances. And there is no overhead light. In the wintertime, the rooms are very very dark. At least add a floor lamp. No AC for summertime and the heaters are very slow to warm up.

Very good value for money. We had an offer of a doubble room for 65 euro and didnt expect much , but we very happily surprised. A basic room with nothing extra but it was big, clean and neet and with a comfortable bed. The room was quiet and we slept well. We enjoyed the breakfast buffé with lots of variety and it was a really nice room were breakfast was served.

Since it was a room on the top floor / attic the window were facing another roof and no wiew at all except the sky, it was small and placed high up on the wall. But it didnt botter us due to the price we paid. Maybe it would be a bit cosier with some pictures on the wall or a carpet or something. But nothing accutally to complain about.

Very peculiar place, loved the rundown vibe and mishmash of styles and eras. Unfortunately they were in the process of renovating, so the old 70s interior will probably soon be gone. Walking through the orange and green corridors felt like being in a David Lynch dream sequence.

The Hotel Statt is a typical old style hotel. If you look around inside you will see that it is in a famous old building. We got a nice room looking out over the nearby church and square. The breakfast was great, as usual we found everything we wanted. Finally we got some great restaurant proposals from the person in the reception

The area might be a little noisy. And, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, but watch out for the parking signs and rules around the hotel. You will not like to get fined...

I got an early check in at 10 am. Also the staff reminded me that I had to check out, when I forgot the DL. They did not charge me anything extra.

The shower knob was so confusing. Perhaps label it.

As building is quite old, be careful of potential faults eg not closing windows - but when reported to staff in the reception, should be handled smoothly.

There was an error on Booking and we booked a non-existent room. The staff solved the problem, so we were put in another room, better. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The view from the window was to the courtyard, but captured the roofs of neighboring houses, which is very beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is clean and spacious. The furniture in the room is comfortable, there was a TV, but we did not use it. Liked the breakfast. It was a delicious buffet in a huge beautiful baroque hall.

Furniture is not new but in good condition. There are no more complaints.
