The breakfast is not great. No eggs unless you eat the ones with the peppers in them and I don't eat peppers. Bring back the plain scrambled eggs or make some of the other kind without the peppers. I had cereal because I don't want all the carbs of the pancakes and muffins/breads. I prefer the sausage links to the patties but only patties available. I just had cereal which is hardly worth paying for breakfast included.

Super friendly staff even at 11pm at night! Newly renovated room and bathroom that were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast included, comfortable beds, LOVE all the dove products.

Under renovation but we didn't mind at all. No noise issues and it will be beautiful when complete! Would prefer regular scrambled eggs instead of peppers in them as I do not eat peppers but otherwise great breakfast selection. No vending machines available until renovation is complete FYI.

Great location with plenty of parking. Not too many restaurants on that exit but still decent enough. Checkin was simple. The room was large and clean. Some parts of the hotel showed age and need of repair but it was still clean. The housekeeping and kit hen staff were super friendly and helpful. The gym is very small but it was adequate. The breakfast was good tasting and had a good selection. Coffee was weak. Beds weren't my favorite but adequate. Would stay here again.

You can't take a L out of the parking lot. The gym is super small. Renovations are ongoing. Beds weren't super comfy but adequate. The vending didn't have water but the staff got me some.

breakfast was decent. Location is great for us because it's on the way to the beach. I have stayed here on my way to and from vacation and the staff is always super nice!

No extra pillows to be had. We had someone sleeping on the sofa bed. They were able to provide a sheet and blanket but no pillows. In the arm chair in our room, there was someone else's stuff (loose hair tie, some trash) between the seat cushion and the arm of the chair. Must have been from the previous guest - just shows the cushions were not vacuumed or sprayed because when you looked at the chair straight on, you could see the stuff sticking out the side.

The stay was great. I would have given it a 10 if we had a shower curtain in our room. I did ask but they didn't have any available. They did offer another room but didn't want to go through the trouble of switching. I was over all happy and will definitely stay at holiday in express hotel again in the future.

Everything. It was a very pleasant stay. From the gentleman at the front desk to housekeeping staff to the woman tending to the breakfast and the woman at the front desk in the morning, everyone was friendly and super helpful. Everything was nice and clean. I would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was good. Nice, clean room. Space for the kids to play around the room. Easy to get back onto the interstate!

It says it has a heated pool. The pool was not heated. (Cold makes me hurt) It was very chilly (even according to the kids). Otherwise, everything was nice.

The staff was extremely nice. The food at the complimentary breakfast was good, plentiful, and there was a large selection of items. The room was very clean, including the bathroom. There was a closet, ironing board and iron, and a decent fridge. The beds were very comfortable. There was also a large selection of programs to watch on the television. On this trip, we also stayed at a Tru Hilton and Marriott Courtyard and they couldn't hold a candle to this Holiday Inn Express.

When we arrived in our room, there was a very strong odor in the room. When we explained it to the front desk associate, she was very apologetic, quick to find us another room, and made sure we were comfortable.

The pancake machine wasn't working. :(

We have stayed here several times in the last few years and have always had a good experience. Great location, VERY clean with really comfortable rooms, excellent staff and good breakfast options. With this last stay, it was still good, but not quite as clean as it has always been. It might be under new management or something. We will still stay here because it is a good bargain & we like the rooms a lot.

Not quite as clean & maintained as in the past, however, still a very good place to stay.
