Beautiful grounds, buildings, golf course etc

Our room was a junior suite and everything was nice except the sofa bed which seemed like the cheapest type of ikea fold out bed with cushions that wouldn’t sit properly and also was marked. When we asked for it to be removed they checked but never did replace it or remove it which was disappointing.

I mean you can’t but love the look at this property, it’s gorgeous. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, lots of choices.

The restaurant for dinner was overpriced. The risotto needed some seasoning and the beef was over cooked.

Clean and very comfortable. The chateau was fabulous as very authentic. Staff were great in the bar and restaurant.

Wine in restaurant was very expensive as over 70 euros The food prices was fine but a glass of wine was 19 euros so not great.

This was our third stay, and the hotel upgraded us to a garden suite which was a beautiful spacious room that allowed us to have a private garden access for our dog. When we made the decision to extend our stay for another week, the gentleman at reception was so helpful and accommodating in arranging the cleaners to prioritise our new room to be cleaned first, enabling us to seamlessly transfer to our new room before we even checked out of our former one. The breakfast and dinners are always high quality and the staff overall are very jovial, attentive and helpful, with so many individuals standing out as going above and beyond in every way. This is truly appreciated.

Nothing. It’s perfection.

Room - very spacious, very elegant. The entire hotel is in a chateau/castle and you get to walk through the old halls that are now transformed into game rooms, restaurants and art rooms. Many facilities available - sauna, jacuzzi, spa, pool, golf course, tennis court, meditation room (which was this beautiful chamber in the hotel built in a mosaic style). Restaurant was excellent - food was delicious and the wines were amazing. Breakfast included very nice fresh pastries and fruits.

It is a great experience, but if you are not staying to play golf, I find it will be difficult to stay for longer than a few days - there is not much to do in that area. Very beautiful, but very isolated in a small village.

We stayed here on route from the UK to the south of France. We stayed here in the summer also whilst travelling in the opposite direction and found that the location suited us perfectly for the kids. Our last stay was good although we found the food that time was extremely average (as last reviews highlight). This trip, we dared to try the restaurant again and were pleasantly surprised but a much improved meal; the escargot were fabulous! We stayed in exactly the same room, a suite with one large king and then a sofa bed which was very comfortable and clean and very large compared to other family rooms we have stayed in. Another noticeable change was the hotel manager. I suspect he might be new but he was incredibly attentive and showed care for the guests and the flexibility that should be seen in a hotel like this. I felt this made a big difference, especially as he spoke perfect English. It seems there are further improvements in the offing so it should only get better. In any event, a good find as it is, in a beautiful building, that accommodated both children and dogs!

The golf course was lovely. Good breakfast. Very helpful reception staff. Very nice rooms opening onto the courtyard.

I didn't think the food in the restaurant was fantastic at night. Service very slow on the second night. Wines very expensive and noticeably more so than other chateaux and hotels we had stayed in on the trip

This is a really beautiful hotel. The Pool and restaurant are perfectly positioned at the back of the property looking up to the beautiful Chateau and out across the golf course. Food and service at dinner were excellent even though it was busy. The outside terrace was really buzzy and had a nice atmosphere. Dogs are welcomed everywhere which is so nice as we had our pup with us. We’ll definitely stop here again en route to the south. Breakfast was delicious too, with tonnes of variety!

Everything

Great location, very quiet and secluded. Rooms a great size, lovely pool area, plenty of parking. Great breakfast and plenty of choice. Staff are very attentive.

Bistro restaurant is not great, it's trying to be too fancy but fails miserably with small overpriced options which are not very well cooked. Our food arrived cold and we had to send it back. Its a real shame as it wouldn't take a lot to make the bistro restaurant excellent. Just deliver guests simple French food done well. Air conditioning was also not working, something they told us about, but in the heart of burgundy in August it is very much needed.

Staying in this hotel is an experience hence it should not be assessed as a regular hotel stay. Room was large but may require some renovation soon. Breakfast was good but nothing excessive, the seating area inside was a bit small. Locationwise, it suited us perfectly as it is located right between Chablis and Burgundy.

Restaurant and service in general. We had our dinner for one evening in which the service was poor, the quality of the food was poor, especially given the atmosphere of the hotel. We had to wait more than an hour for our main courses and the steak was chewy and stringy.
