Room 514 had beautiful view of the marina. Room was large, and beds were very comfortable, not too hard or soft. We had two queen beds and a sofa that pulled out, so you could sleep several people. Staff were always polite and helpful. Ate breakfast there and found it an excellent value - $11 a person, with very nice, varied buffet and pleasant seating. Buffet was much better than what you typically get at a hotel. Also, the hotel is essentially right next door to the Long Island Aquarium, so perfectly located. The hotel even gave us a discount coupon - 33%. Hotel is also not far from wineries I was told, close to outlets (about ten minutes away), and reasonable distance from the Hamptons (about 40-50 minutes depending on where you are going). Would definitely stay here again. Went on a Tuesday, and many of the restaurants were closed, but I understand the area gets hopping on the weekends.

The outdoor pool is right behind the hotel and is open to viewing from public areas. It could use some shrubs or other barriers to provide more privacy. The parking is across the street so you have to manage crossing a major street with luggage, but it is doable.

Only there a few hours to sleep, but clean, comfortable, I saw a restaurant next door, I saw other places to eat and entertain close in downtown Riverhead. Looked top notch in all aspects I found in hotel and room.

I got a spot in lot, but I could see parking being a problem. I didn't see a microwave in room...did I miss it? I looked for a writing pad but didn't find one. All small concerns that would not stop me from returning.

We had king room which included a big bed and a double sofa bed. Great configuration for families as well..Good size room and really comfortable sofa bed! Great breakfast! Location is great and one can get discounted tickets for the Aquarium from the hotel.

The room could have been better cleaned and some features of the room could have been better fixed (faucet was shaky and the fix to the tiles in the shower could have been more cleanly done). These are just details and didn't distract from the actual functionality of the amenities. The parking in front was limited and so we used the parking in the back. Parking in the back is in gravel so with rain it easily gets quite bumpy with holes created all over the place - it would be nice if the hotel could pave the back parking.

Nice spacious room, with two double beds and a separate seating area. Very friendly and helpful staff. There is no tea making facility in the room, but we could get free teas at the hotel/reception bar anytime. Nice (however small) in- and outdoor pools. Nicely located alongside a river. Breakfast included.

Beds in the rooms with two double beds are quite small and matrasses could be a bit firmer. Noisy room airco.

Tony made our stay extra awesome with any thing we needed he made it happen! the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The nightly events for the kids is a great addition to your stay.

The staff was amazing. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very good location in the heart of Riverhead on Main Street with local bars within walking distance. And the buffet breakfast was amazing. Very clean and spacious rooms. No complaints at all. Check in was smoothe and easy. Onsite bar was convenient. And check out easy as well.

Hotel was clean. Front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast had a wide variety of food. Room was spacious and clean. Facilities were great especially the outdoor pool. Water was clean and not overly chlorinated. Indoor pool, while a tad more chlorinated, was also a nice option. Lounge chairs were nice as were the outdoor bar and view of the river. Location was great - centrally located near the Tanger Outlets, Splish Splash water park, vineyards, and of course between the North and South forks of Long Island. Also, a nice variety of restaurants nearby. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Only negative on the area is some of the homeless in the streets. The hotel parking was across the street in a lot and they are definitely aware of travelers travelling by car. Just ensure your car is well secured with nothing stored in the car. Hotel coffee, while Starbucks, really had no taste and could have been better.

Loved the comfort. Alot of confusion on the booking policies. Breakfast wasn't included. Which I requested so they did comp that. McKenzie was great!Most of the staff super friendly.

The front desk clerk Olga,in The morning should not be welcoming guests. Not friendly at all. Also housekeeping knocked at 10am for check out. It's 11am.

Excellent value for money. Very large, comfortable and quiet room. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a water facing room, with a lovely view. The breakfast had a good selection. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.

The closest option for dining next door, Jerry and The Mermaid was awful with rude staff and overpriced food

Breakfast was great and you are located right next to the Aquarium. There is an indoor/outdoor pool (open during the summer) and there are many restaurants that you can walk to. You are also very close to the Tanger Outlets if you want to do some shopping.

Our room had a connecting door which we locked as soon as we checked in but we could sometimes hear the guests talking that were staying next door.
