Fabulous!! We stayed 4 nights with Lesley the whole experience was exceptional. The bedroom had plenty of room with a large comfy bed, fresh clean linens, plenty of pillow choices. There’s a small coffee/tea making station in the room, small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of a local apple juice! Complimentary cookies and snack basket plus a small decanter of sherry which I enjoyed. Bathroom across hall, large tub, shower was really good. Our room was refreshed every day. Lesley would check on us every day to make sure we had everything we needed. Parking was easy. Location so convenient for a quick stroll into the town or take the car if needed.
Wish we’d stayed longer!!

A characterful house and host! Lesley was delightful company - warm and welcoming and so helpful. Everything was immaculate and nothing was too much trouble for her. Nice touches, like fresh milk for morning tea and even 'up-market' tea bags (Tea Pigs)! A homely cottage garden to sit out in.
Personally, having some mobility issues, I struggled with the ascending gravel path up to the house from parking on the road and the 'not straightforward' staircase, but Lesley was a gem in helping me.carry my bags upstairs. Also, I hadn't been aware that there were no restaurants open in Tenbury Wells on a Monday evening (some have only recently stopped opening on Mondays so Lesley would not have known). I ended up in Tesco! Perhaps I should have checked ahead of time. No doubt Lesley will suggest to future Monday guests to perhaps book a meal in nearby Ludlow.

Beautiful room, very comfortable, large bathroom and lots of lovely touches with the items in the room; a glass of sherry was quaint! The fridge is really useful, especially as there is no breakfast because you can bring some provisions to tide you over. However, town is only a short walk. The host, Lesley is very welcoming and helpful; she really wants you to enjoy your stay. Despite no breakfast I would highly recommend this property as a place to stay.
I can't criticise anything. If you book knowing that breakfast isn't included your expectations are managed.

Host Lesley was lovely and very welcoming. Nice pleasant room with little welcome basket of local goodies, e.g. crisps, biscuits. Room had a teapot and fridge with milk in which made making hot drinks easier. Good shower/bathroom across the landing well stocked with toiletries. TV worked without any faff. Parking was on road on a hill so practice your hill starts but it wasn't a problem as it was right outside the property and security did not feel like an issue. We were happy to park there. Lesley's suggestions for local amenities were very useful. We had a lovely meal in the Peacock which was a short drive away. We went to The Pembroke for a drink on our last night which was a few minutes walk. Real ales on tap and the local Robinsons cider which must be sampled. As someone who doesn't like dogs I found Lesley's dog very friendly. We used this as a location for going to Ludlow Food and Drink Festival and although it was about seven miles away it was a relatively easy drive and meant we weren't paying premium prices for accommodation, if you could get any! Location is quiet, apart from the owls : ) Wi-fi was excellent.
A fan would have helped as the weather was unbearably hot. Maybe a sheet so that we could take the quilt off. But the September heatwave was unexpected and took us all by surprise. If you have mobility problems this property could be a challenge for you as you have to go up a short slope to the front door and the stairs are tricky. But if you're in moderate health it's good exercise. Don't let this put you off as this is a lovely place to stay but just want to give a heads up.

Comfy bed. Good clean bathroom. Coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and crisps were lovely to receive. Also the fridge in the room was excellent. The bedroom was tastefully decorated with lovely linen on the bed and everything was very clean. We had a good nights sleep.
No parking on a driveway so car was left on side of the road.

A very warm greeting from host Lesley, nice cottage, lovely room, good bathroom, quiet place, very convenient for my requirements. Easy to find with the GPS, and good parking.
A cooked breakfast would really have been the icing on the cake. (But the information made it very clear that this was not provided.) On the Saturday I was able to get one locally, on the Sunday it was not possible.

Lesley the host was really friendly and told us where we could go on some nice walks and where to get good breakfasts and meals from. The bed was really comfortable and the linen sheets were lovely and cool. The hamper of goodies she left for us to nibble on were tasty and of great quality. Tea and coffee facilities were always topped up. Location was scenic and peaceful. The cosy cottage was 10 minutes walking distance from the shops and pubs. Most of all lesley,s pet cat and dog were gorgeous and friendly. We will definitely be going there again. Thanks Lesley for a lovely stay. Maria and Robert Cherrington.
Nothing. Couldn't fault it.

Pleasant room, friendly host, nice bathroom, lovely cottage garden, generous snacks, ironing board and hair dryer, coffee in room. For breakfast we went to Riverside Cafe (short walk into Tenbury, reassuringly busy and good quality English breakfast).

Morningside Cottage ticked all of the boxes that made our stay comfortable, clean & cozy. Within walking distance of a wealth of quality restaurants & pubs, this B&B is well located in a character Worcestershire town that has had to rebuild its tourism trade following devastating flooding of the River Teme combined with the double whammy of the pandemic. As with all of the other businesses & livelihood’s this B&B deserves the support it is clearly getting. Despite the accommodation only offering one room it plays a huge part in supporting the local economy welcoming back a recently stalled tourist trade. Well done Lesley for making our stay so memorable, a true definition of hospitality…
Nothing..

The property was in a quiet location apart from a very annoying barking dog somewhere close by which wasn’t the owners one I would like to point out. The bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable and there was tea/coffee facilities in the room. Bathroom is across the landing from the bedroom. It is upstairs so you do have to be mobile.
No off street parking but available over the road under a tree which can be annoying for some people.
