The room was huge, as was the bed. The bathroom was very well appointed with high quality fittings & looked to have been refurbished fairly recently. Parking was very good & convenient and the hotel was perfectly situated to walk to everywhere in the town. Breakfast was good and well prepared.

The hotel looked a little tired and some of its furnishings could do with replacement. I noticed the fresh flowers were all decaying in their vases. Dinner on Saturday night was a disappointment with some of my food inedible. For the prices charged it should have been a lot better. The hotel recognised this & didn't charge for my main course. Very little atmosphere in the dining room.

This was the third time I had stayed at the Feathers. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was great.

Lots of issues with communication still. I had no water in my room one day and asked four times for water before someone (Samuel) actually brought it to my room (he was frustrated as he knew that I had asked previously quite a few times). There was also an issue with a meal which I waited over an hour for and when it came it was cold. This was disappointing as I had the same meal a few nights earlier and it had been superb. The issue was sorted but was then more wait. I am booked to come again but I hope these issues are sorted as it is a lovely hotel and the staff are superb.

Our room very comfortable and a pleasure to be in when not out and about in Ludlow. With sofa and additional seating are, fridge and spotless and well furnished bathroom ( two wash basins, beautiful bath and spacious shower). Great view of the church. Sunday roast and breakfasts of good quality. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional.

Concern re first come first served re the car park as limited space which is charged for. However , the converse is that it at least has a car park whereas many others in Ludlow don't seem to but would not have liked parking away from the environs of the hotel. Purely personal view and fortunately all worked well for us.

It is always a pleasure to stay at this lovely hotel of great character. The staff are all very friendly, helpful and professional, and make you feel very welcome. The hotel is beautifully tradiditional with exceptional decor and there is always a welcoming, happy atmosphere in all areas. The bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable and the bar areas are very pleasant places to sit and relax. Dinner was excellent, and I noticed this time that the real ale was really good and is obviously well looked after. We look forward to our next visit.

Nothing.

The room was an excellent size. It was called a Junior suite, so it had a seating area, but it wasn't separate from the sleeping area, which I would normally expect for a suite, The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Fabulous bathroom with fantastic bath and huge shower. Aircon was a bonus that I was not expecting. Room overlooked the courtyard which was pleasant, with a view of the church tower behind. Room was quiet and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended. Loved the way the bar and lounge areas were formed of smaller rooms. Made it feel cosy and intimate.

The car park is small, which is stated in the adverts. If you have a larger vehicle, especially a longer one, you might struggle to get in as it is very tight. To be honest I was glad my husband was driving!!

hotel food, staff cleanliness, comfortable bed. Lovely room.

The view from the room was of the car park, maybe some flowers could be put there too? However, it didn't spoil our stay as we were not in our room much, and the room itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a lovely room, spacious room, and although we didnt use them, it is a nice touch to have robes and slippers shoukd you need them. The food, in the restaurant, was on the pricey side. It was delicious though. Just a thought, but maybe food could be served half an hour later? We were going to the Assembly Rooms which started at half past seven so just an extra half hour would've been good.

Good size room, aircon, comfortable bed, fridge. Good size bathroom

Better use of the large space available: - Could have done with overcoat hooks by door. - extra table for make up with mirror & lamp (plenty of wasted space where this could be utilised) - more powerful shower for price-point Evening meal was a disappointment compared to last time we stayed. Very salty main meal, and fries appeared to be frozen oven chips. Dessert not good either. Maybe it was an off night. At the bar, for standard of hotel you should have mixer orange bottles or fresh orange - rather than UHT orange juice which spoils premium vodka (Grey Goose)

We were able to park and to stay in the car park beyond check out time. Dinner was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The breakfast was very good, well cooked, and locally sourced sausage and black pudding. The bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was very well appointed, and very well lit! All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Very poor lighting for reading in the bedroom. AND very poor lighting for reading my newspaper over breakfast in the dining room. The bedrooms need powerful bedside lights. The dining room needs variable lighting, so that people who want to read (e.g. at breakfast) are able to!!

The olde hotel is fantastic to look at and eerie and looks and feels spooky, I love that. It is warm, comfy, in an amazing location and very friendly to humans and dogs btw. Local to lots of amazing pubs and eateries, a market, a castle and a river walk we were lucky to get the weather to do. 1/2 hour walk.

Three times we asked if breakfast was included and told categorically no, then some of our group decided to go in for breakfast and when not charged they enquired to be told it was. We had decided not to go into breakfast and went for a wander to find a local cafe as part of our experience, but in principal this is very annoying..... but they said the breakfast was very nice. Bar in reception a bit pricey but there is one and that's good. The walk to our hotel room was quite a way and lots of little steps and turns, we DID NOT mind but if it is a bit difficult for you to get around ask for a nearby room - the corridors can go on and on ..... :-)

The location was excellent. The hotel building was very impressive and loved the interior decorating. We got upgraded last minute so the junior suite felt extremely comfortable with a gorgeous bathroom. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly, professional and accommodating- thank you.

The only thing the room above ours, the noise from above the floor was quite loud. The first night and morning was fine but the next night and morning was really loud with footsteps (sounded like someone was going to come through the ceiling). I understand it’s an old building but maybe just warn future guests
