Staff friendly and helpful. The full english breakfast on both mornings was enjoyable. I liked the decor of the pub restaurant interior. We ate in on one night in the restaurant and we enjoyed that meal too. An enjoyable stay all in all.

Although this was advertised as a stay in Ludlow, be aware that you are about 4 miles outside of Ludlow and so a taxi ride is needed both ways if you want to venture out into Ludlow for a few drinks. There are 5 or 6 bedrooms in the upstairs accommodation, each room name after a local river. We stayed two night in the Onny. The room is small, no room for a wardrobe, so its a small double room really. That said the room was cosy and it gave us a base for an enjoyable weekend. I would recommend the Salwey Arms to family and friends on the basis of our stay.

The property is conveniently situated with easy parking. Rooms appeared newly decorated and tastefully furnished. We chose one of the smaller rooms, and in retrospect would have preferred a king-size bed instead of the standard double provided. The staff were attentive and helpful and our breakfast and evening meals were delicious. It would be nice if, in addition to the courtesy tea and coffee tray in the rooms, a bottle of still water could also be provided. Bathroom facilities were very good.

The breakfast was delicious. I had pancakes with maple syrup and cream which was excellent .My husband had avocado on sourdough toast which he really enjoyed. The bed was really comfortable. We ate our evening meal in the hotel both evenings and they were very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful too.

Couldn't really understand the shower over the bath and struggled to hold the shower and the shower gel. Also as there was no shower screen and the water spray went over the bathroom floor.

The Evening Meal & Breakfast Which We Had On Both Our Nights And Morning Stay, Was Superb. Using Top Quality Produce All Meals And Drinks Was Served With Joy & Passion From Waiting Staff & Kitchen Alike. 1st Class Dining Experience. And Dare I Say Very Reasonably Priced. A Few Reviews Mentioned The Road Noise. I Can Honestly Say That Not Once Did Road Noise Effect Our Stay Or Experience And Would Definitely Be The First Choice To Stay Again If In The Area.

The Hotel was in a great position for us , as it was situated in a central position for the places we wanted to visit and explore.

We were in the Queen suite, Teme it was called. The room was lovely and lots of space and an amazing bathroom. However the room NEEDED tripple glazing as it was on a very,very busy road, we found it very difficult to sleep and had two nights poor sleep as a result. Also, there was no walk in shower and even though there was a fantastic roll top bath, both my husband and I struggled to get in and out !!!

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was tastefully decorated and I loved the painting in the room! The only thing missing from the room was a bath, but the shower cubicle was spacious. Overall excellent

Nothing really, maybe could have done with more staff at breakfast time as the lovely lady called Sue was on her own.

Everything was good, One of the best stays in a long time. Comfey rooms, A gsuperb breakfast. Coffee that isn't see though Food is consistantly good and generally excellent. Resturant was staffed properly during busy times.

One word of warning, it's on a main road, If you're bothered by noise, choose your room carefully.

The hotel was well located and the décor was very in keeping. Not a huge choice on the menu but sometimes this can be off putting, but what there was was very good. We saw a sign for a local National Trust building, so visited that (Croft Castle)

The only gripe would be that our room didn't have much of a view (overlooking the kitchen extension), plus the extractor fans were quite noisy for the evening, and kicked off again at 07.30 hours.

Beautiful room (Teme) and place to stay, very clean and decorated to a high standard. Food was exceptional and staff lovely.

Due to its proximity to the main road it was very noisy overnight. Bit of a wait for breakfast due to only 1 staff member working and an influx of walk in customers.

The breakfast was first c;lass. There was a choice of real ales. Decor was lovely. The landlady was not only an excellent cook, but lovely as well. We were too late to eat, but have it on good information that they also have an excellent chef. Room was lovely and there was plenty of parking. There is fun in the gardens for the children. We were directed to visit Ludlow before we left the area and it , with its castle and old buildings, is lovely.
