June 2025: We stayed in the loft conversion (3rd/top floor), twin bed. The room is beautifully styled and feels like new. Air conditioning, or open the windows to hear the nice sounds of the cobbled streets below if weather allows. The shower room was incredibly clean and also like new. Coffee pod machine in the room, hair dryer, fridge. Bottled water is provided (thank you hotel), though the tap water is safe and tastes wonderful in my opinion. There is a lift up to the 2nd floor, then steps to the 3rd - not suitable for those with limited mobility. The hotel lobby, lift and door entry is key-card controlled for additional guest security, but the area felt very safe regardless. The location is excellent - almost at the central main square and almost by the river, but without any of the occasional noise you get at those two places. The coffee at breakfast is great. I would stay at this hotel again, recommended.

Hotel staff if you read this please install a hand rail for the top 3 steps to the 3rd floor - it feels dangerous without it! The buffet breakfast has a little bit of everything so I was generally happy with it, but it doesn't all go together very well so you have to get creative with your pairings. Similarly, the teas were all fruit or herbal during our stay, no regular black or green teas. If you use the air conditioning I recommend getting the room to temperature BEFORE going to sleep, because it makes some plastic clicking sounds which might disturb your sleep, even with the swing movement turned off. I think the new mattresses are the memory foam type so they can get warm and hug you which I don't like, but this is just a personal preference and my family did like it.

unusually - toilet mounted too high - I am average height and my feet barely touched floor Visitors should be aware that only taxis and public service vehicles can enter the historic town's exclusion zone legally - so luggage needs to be pulled or carried. It is possible to drop guests 5 minutes walk away, nearest parking is more like 15 mins.

Location at good. Very central. However as no cars allowed near city centre we had to carry our bags from parking 1 to hotel about 300 to 400 metres. This is a big negative as international traveller's we had big bags. Room is very spacious and toilet large and both are very modern from inside. Beds were v comfortable. Fan provided for circulation. Good double windows for noise cancellation. Breakfast is quite extensive.

No drinking water provided. No filter to fill own bottle. No cars allowed near hotel. We saw other Asian groups with tourist vans coming to their hotel next to ours, so we were surprised how. Clearly there are ways to circumvent the local rules. No air-conditioning in room. Only fan.

I really like this hotel , old but comfortable with all the convenience. The most impressive things are on the room wall with lots of the old pictures , drawings and photos, also decorated on the lobby wall. The reception person is a beautiful girlfriend with blue eyes given me deep impressions. CK is a small town . Everywhere can walk to visit. Really recommend this hotel from booking. com

Very old, slightly quirky property with eclectic but tasteful decor in a great location. Excellent staff and service, clean, great breakfast and awesome exterior.

Nothing! However people with mobilty/accessibilty issues should advise at time of booking as there are a few steps here and there.

Amazing location, just a few minutes to the castle. Spectacularly beautiful. Our room was charming and comfortable. The breakfast was fine. Nothing special, but several options and lots of it on offer. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. All in all, a delightful experience.

Our only issue was the noise at night. That's nothing the hotel can control, but every night small groups of people gathered and partied outside our window. I think that's just the way it is in Cesky Krumlov. We closed our window and used the fan, but we couldn't block the noise out completely.

Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of choices to eat.

Our room had a step about a third of the way into the room in an unlikely spot. It is easy to trip or stub your toe in the dark on the step and there is no night light or glow-in-the dark tape to mark the step.

Great Location right in the center of Cesky Krumlov, everything in walking distance, with nice bars and restaurants right around the corner. The price is more than okay for the room, the breakfast is acceptable. Had a great time and would recommend it!

Good location

Parking is far away. Except to walk 15 plus minutes dragging your roller bag and cobble stone walkway. Coffee is really bad and not available until the really late breakfast start. Breakfast starts at 8 am.

Gorgeous room with such atmosphere, we loved the unique decorations. It is very quiet at night so you can have a restful sleep, and nothing better than waking up to look out onto the square. Location is perfect for visiting the city. The staff were kind enough to recommend another room, accessible by the lift, for my elderly mother.
