Nice big room, great location with parking. Really interesting building with partly rock walks. Breakfast was good.

Be very careful if driving. Google Maps gave us bad directions asking us to go through the tourist centre and an impassable road. The road directly before the hotel is tight but passable without issue.

Our stay was a very nice time. It was easy for us to get from the bus stop where the Flix bus arrived. We were warmly greeted by Karl who is part of the family run business. Great location to see the sights of Cesky Krumlov. The large clean room which had part of the original rock wall exposed provided lots of ambience. Comfortable bed & furnishings. Up to date bathroom. Monika made sure we had whatever we needed for breakfast . It was a great start for our day. Upon leaving Karl made sure we made it to the central bus station!

Very comfortable and quiet room overlooking the river in a peaceful spot yet only a couple of minutes' walk into the main centre. We enjoyed the excellent buffet breakfast and very friendly service. Would definitely recommend. We were allowed to store our luggage on the last morning and the owner kindly booked a taxi for us to get to the station.

To start, this trip was for my father and I (35 M) and we were both comfortable in this room! It was a cozy little room on the side of the river that ran through the town. Everything was easy to reach and in walking distance. The accommodations were great and you could see the local church and castle from the window! I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful location on a quiet street by the river with spectacular views. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Good shower and WiFi. Bed was a good size. Conveniently located, with the Castle/Old Town, restaurants and transport links within walking distance.

The room was a bit warm for us so we slept better with the window open. A minor thing, but the motion-sensitive hall light activating when someone goes to and from the bathroom could wake you if you are a light sleeper.

The room was homey. The shower had fantastic pressure. Monika was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and fresh and timely. Location in historical part of town. Walk to everything. Apple map directions were very helpful to get to the place.

Part of the road is very narrow but passable if you drive very slowly. It is due to the location in a very old part of town.

Perfect location and the staff couldn’t be nicer.

I didn’t like having to pay cash. It got very bright very early. Blackout curtains would have been nice, but as there is no A/C, I am not sure how useful they would have been.

The breakfast was very good and the hostess accommodating. The location was super fun. We drove and there was parking as promised, as well as very good directions by the host.

Our room was downstairs off the entry and did not feel very private; couldn't open shades without ground level visibility into our room.

Kapr is located at the river side, just outside old town with great access but w/o noises and buzzing. Room was quite big with huge bad and modest bathroom. All coffee/tea appliances are outside the room but with easy access. Views from rooms on the 1st floor and up are lovely facing the river. Breakfast was pretty basic but tasty.

Only drawback was the parking space cost, it's not dedicated garage but just a place more or less 200m away for just shy of 20euros, pretty expensive. Keep in mind, that having wide car makes using this spot almost impossible, to get to Penzion you need to navigate through really tiny streets

This was a most marvellous 5 night stay at Penzion Kapr. A faultless location right on the quiet side of the river between two of the bridges into the old town. The reception was warm and the hosts so accommodating throughout the stay. Safe parking was available just a short 100 away along the riverside although large cars are not recommended along Rybarska. It’s very narrow. Rooms cleaned and tidied everyday. Everything fresh and spotless. Really comfortable beds. Rooms very spacious and nicely laid out. Because of its position on the river, just walking out of the reception every y was a joy. Cooking meats, wood fires and the rush of the river over the weirs were magical. Thank you for the perfect stay.
