The beautiful beach is within a very short walk. I swam in the warm shallow waters every day and enjoyed it immensely. The motel has a free laundry for washing and drying clothes. The motel staff are very helpful. The friendly pub serves up delicious meals at expensive prices and has excellent WiFi. The only cafe - opposite the pub operates from early morning to around 1 pm.

It’s close proximity to the beach. Comfortable bed. Having its own restaurant and bar was convenient and the meals were delicious and I was always left satisfied. The room had a nice big bathroom and shower area.

The pool area was untidy and not cleaned for the entirety of my three night stay. My money was taken hours before I checked in which was a little rude. Made me feel like it didn’t matter if I showed up.

Older hotel but clean rooms, great value for money, easy walk to pub along the beach path, can highly recommend the Saturday night Buffet, not overly fancy, but very very very tasty.Lovely people that run it, and Jessie is a bit of a superstar.

I could only stay one night

The location close to the beach was super! We walked to the beach and watched the Torres Strait Island Pigeons flying back to their roosts on offshore islands after feeding on mainland native fruits. The buffet dinner in the restaurant was AMAZING! Great food for just $20! The sticky date pudding dessert rated 12/10 by our group. Only wished we’d had room for seconds!!

One of our touring party found her bed to be very hard and uncomfortable. The rest of us slept well.

I really liked staying here. The double and the single bed in the one room was fantastic for a couple that normally have a bedroom each at home. The price was fantastic, and the staff were really great. Check in and check out was a breeze and it was close to the beautiful beach. I would stay here again.

Centrally located in the heart of kurramine, it was a compact room/apartment with decent cooking facilities which we didn't get to use since we ate at the bistro downstairs which was super excellent value. We paid $20 for a buffet style dinner, Friday was seafood night with fish, chips, salads, garlic bread, calamari plus a chicken dish; dessert was sticky date pudding with custard and ice-cream. Different buffet for each week night. Nice hot shower

Our room was clean, comfortable and quite. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the smorgasbord meal at the on-site restaurant was excellent. Thank you. Happy 😊.

We loved the location and the room was perfect for what we needed. The kids were really happy with their beds and our bigger bed fitted nicely in the family sized room so we were all together. The bathroom was a good size and lovely and clean. the kitchen was perfectly adequate as we went out to the local hotel for dinner. The a/c in the room was one of the best we’ve ever had, especially considering the size of the room it needed to cool.

I couldn’t really fault it. If anything (and I’m really scraping the barrel here) the car parks were quite narrow to navigate in our Ute. But plenty of roadside parking anyway so this really wasn’t an issue.

The car could be parked directly outside the front door so easy access. Good shower with good pressure, nice and hot. Two big beds. Friendly staff and good value for money.

Location as well as a good pool which we enjoyed. Choice on evening meal menus provided a good range of food and drinks.

The area had limited opportunities for shopping.
