For a roadside motel, it was really good value and comfortable ! We paid about 90 dollars for a room with shared bathroom. I think that’s really good value considering you can paid double that for a private room in a less nice hostel.. the bed was comfy, everything was clean, we had a fridge and a huge tv which worked well. The shared bathroom was clean the whole night. We went for dinner at the restaurant and the food was decent, and the waiter was really attentive and nice. Overall very happy and liked the surrounding tropical lush gardens, an experience !

Nothing to say we slept well and ate well which is the main thing

I found the room and bathroom to be very clean. Even though it's on the highway and our room fronted the highway it wasn't noisy at all. The bed was very comfortable. I found the room good value for a one night travel stop. Staff member was super friendly.

Just the blanket wasn't the best. It was a coverlet rather than a blanket and wasn't comfy. It was a colder night and didn't keep us warm so we had to use the aircon. Would rather a nice blanket.

Our room was modern, very clean, comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. It was perfect after a day of driving. The shower was great. The owner was very nice. Highly recommend this place to stay if you need a room on your travels.There is a restaurant/bar attached to the motel for hungry travellers.

Very reasonably priced.Cleanest motel room of the trip. Staff cheerful, polite and helpful. Plantations restaurant excellent food bubbly staff, a very enjoyable dining experience. An added bonus to our stay was a cassowary wandering through the property past our room in the afternoon.

Spotlessly clean and check in quick. Staff we dealt with fantastic. We opted for the shared bathroom option which we wondered how it would go but it was absolutely fine. On site restaurant was great.

Tv a bit small and tinny but not a big deal

My information was that there was a terrace, but this didn't seem to be the case. It had a door out to a central garden, but people walking past could see into the room.

Always a great stay. The owners are super friendly and helpful. Bed super comfy. Shower, hot and hard ❤️. AND fresh towels daily!!! HIGHLY recommended stop in Tully.

Couldn't get WiFi on phones or TV 😪. Seriously don't like free to air TV 😆.

It was half way to our destination, right on the highway, and surprisingly very little traffic noise. The room was a good size and they had great black out blinds

The bed was very soft, but in a way that had little support. The restaurant food was OK, but expensive for what it was, and REALLY noisy considering there were only about 16 people in it.

Room was clean and plenty of room. Also, for a small country town, had everything you would expect in a high end motel. Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was excellent with a great chef. Loved our stay.

Husband would have liked a bigger tv 😉

Proximity to my family. Lovely hot shower. The room had everything that I needed.

I wasn’t too keen on the room being serviced every second day but I did understand it. I also thought that the room lighting wasn’t very strong. I would probably have liked a stronger reading light.
