Great location, with easy access to Wongaling Beach out front. There's even a wee skate park nearby. Our flat was more spacious than we expected. The finish may be slightly outdated but they more than make up for this by keeping things very clean. On arrival, we were greeted with cool rooms and with nice floral scents. The huge TV and couch made a comfy spot for the kids to chill. Lots of amenities. If we come back to Mission Beach, will consider staying here again.

Nothing really. If I were being picky, water from one of the two showers was really slow to heat up. Some of the cutlery needed to be cleaned again before use.

I arrived tired after a long drive and didn't remember the details of the room I'd booked, but was delighted with the quiet, cosy comfort that greeted me. Unfortunately I arrived too late to want to use the pool, but that also looked very nice. It's not far from the beautiful Mission beach.

Apart from the pool there's not much outside space to speak of. I had a small balcony but it just overlooked a street. The shower was a bit dribbly. And the wifi was very hit and miss and I gave up on it; I couldn't get mobile signal either so that was a bit annoying. Altogether a very nice stay, though.

Very well managed & maintained, clean and comfortable accommodation with a lovely pool, outdoor, (covered) dining area and a large barbeque. Located just a stone's throw from the beach within a quiet residential neighbourhood. Not too far from a Cafe, (approx. 5 minutes on foot) Woolworths, bottle shop & pub, (approx.15 - 20 on foot). Property management and staff members were friendly, helpful, professional and kind. Especially recommended for couples!

Beautifully presented room, very clean and small amount of kitchenware which was useful. Lovely pool, very quiet location. Good parking.

Property was absolutely fine, Wongaling beach is beautiful but absolutely nothing to do there….just the beautiful beach to walk along (not in the sea). No restaurants in walking in distance (not that we could find). Supermarket not far but a drive away…..can walk to it but it’s a fair distance. Drove to Mission Beach, not much there either, apart from roadworks right in the middle.

I stay here regularly for work and am never disappointed. Clean and bright rooms. Close to grocery store, beach and the very beautiful Kennedy Walking Track. No fuss check in and free undercover parking on site. Bonus that the rooms have a microwave.

Location meets my needs and I like that it is quiet, but some may prefer accommodation that is closer to the restaurant precinct.

After 11 days of motel rooms travelling from Melbourne to FNQ, we were thrilled to have a spacious apartment with full kitchen facilities, a proper lounge / dining area, two balconies, and laundry facilities! The location is quiet, very relaxing and a stone’s throw from the beach. And what a magnificent beach, all 14 kms of it!!! Mission Reef Resort is a small two-storey resort with under-cover parking, a small pool (unheated) and a popular outdoor spa. The plants and gardens are lovely. Managers/Owners are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Our apartment had nearly everything you could want or need, it was very comfortable. Decor is not the most modern but it is fine. Bed was very comfy, we slept well. Shower is good, hairdryer is old, time for an update! Was so nice to be able to wash our clothes. Could not find a laundry basket to put wet clothes into, that would be very useful. No tissues or face washers supplied - BYO. Cafes & restaurants are not within walking distance, but only a short drive away. However, you can walk to Woolworths & pharmacy.

This is a great property - rooms are spacious and are equipped with a kettle, microwave, mini fridge and kitchen items (cutlery, plates, etc). Each room has individually controlled aircon and fans which keep it very comfortable. Rooms are clean and it's very quiet. The pool area has a bbq and lounge chairs and is well maintained. It's an easy drive to Mission Beach or a longer walk on the beach to get to the restaurants. There's a large Woolworths ~5 min drive away. The beach is across the street - less than a 5 min walk. There's also a small splash pool area and skate park across the street in the park.

Wifi isn't super fast but it gets the job done. Would be great if there was more on-site parking, can get a bit full at night but I was always able to find a spot.

Location is good for getting to the beach for long strolls. Nice quiet location. The accommodation is very nice and priced well.

The parking spots are a bit tight to get in and out. Not many food options nearby so it's a 10 min drive to Mission Beach centre. Nice drive though. Centre of town is a mess right now as there is major road and pedestrian remodeling going on. Most retailers still open though.

Lovely outdoor area which we use throughout our stay. Great BBQ facilities and area. Small but attractive pool area,which we did not use. Too cold for us in July! Our studio room was rather small but serviceable. Everything worked well and was clean. Very helpful and friendly managers. Close to the beach.

Our studio room was rather small but it was okay for a three night stay. I would not recommend this room type for a longer stay. The spacious one bedroom apartments are a much better buy for the extra money.

Good location by the beach, easy to get to from the greyhound bus stop. Leanne & Mark were so welcoming and friendly! We had some issues with the people in the room next to us, but the owners were very helpful and apologetic (even though it shouldn’t be them apologising)! There were also a couple of bikes organised by an external company that you can hire, a fair price for good bikes (AUD $30 ish each for the day). The room was spacious and well equipped. Also, it would have been a really quiet and peaceful location without the guests next to us. Great value for money if you don’t want a hostel!

Nothing in particular - we would definitely be staying again if we were back in mission beach.
